Excellent Seafood Dinner and Evening with Friends On a rainy December evening, we went to dinner at Trattori di Mare AMO in Seregno, a modern seafood trattoria serving excellent fresh seafood, accompanied by a dear couple of friends, C. & P. Parking isn't easy in the streets adjacent to the restaurant, but I recommend the municipal parking lot on the corner of Via San Vitale and Via Lucca or along Via San Luca itself, a 5-minute walk away. The restaurant's location is very informal, with a modern feel, featuring a long room with tables for groups and two smaller rooms ideal for romantic dinners for a single couple or for couples of friends (4-6 people). Regarding the dishes on the menu, we opted for two shrimp, cuttlefish, and octopus salads with sea asparagus, celeriac, and pomegranate, and a plate of Cantabrian anchovies, tarragon butter curls, and a black sesame bagel. Moving on to the first and second courses, we appreciated the quality and quantity of the seafood risotto and the pan of seafood scialatielli, both very flavorful and rich in shellfish. We also enjoyed the grilled octopus with potato flan, Taggiasca olives, and capers, and the cod fillet with chanterelles, soft taragna polenta, and caramelized blueberries. The dishes were beautifully prepared by the chef. A carafe of house Chardonnay washed down the food, and to finish, some desserts and sorbets. Price per couple was less than €80, a quality-to-quantity ratio I'd say well spent. Although it was during the week, the restaurant was fully booked, so much so that when we made our reservation (recommended), we were advised that we needed to wait until 9:00 PM. In addition to dinner, they serve appetizers starting at 7:00 PM, featuring delicious tapas, original seafood sandwiches, brand-new Hawaiian poke, and fried foods. Service was fairly quick, considering the large number of diners present. The acoustics weren't the best, especially in the group room. We were seated in the small room to the left of the cash registers, which allowed us to chat pleasantly, although the noise occasionally drowned out our voices.

Seafood restaurant in Seregno with lower prices than many other places. The food is very good. The good thing is that parking is easy.

First time in this restaurant I was impressed and satisfied by the quality of the dishes and the excellent, the dishes were exceptional the service excellent, the place overall very nice and welcoming, everything perfect a special mention to the scialatielli allo scoglio compliments and I will definitely return soon!

Excellent experience at this historic restaurant. Excellent food, beautifully plated with very fresh fish. Attentive and friendly service, despite our large table. I'll definitely be back.

I have to say I wasn't disappointed overall. I hadn't been here since the management change years ago... but I'm particularly satisfied with the experience, the food, and the atmosphere. Highly recommended! Fair price for what you get.
