My family went there for dinner tonight and had a wonderful experience. Dining at a restaurant isnt just about the food, which was perfection, but it's also about the service and the atmosphere and this place had it all. We really appreciated the hospitality of the owner Tony. We ordered the cacio e pepe pasta for my 12 year old daughter, sausage and potatoes for my 8 year old son and my husband and I shared the pasta carbonara and grilled meats. So far it's been the best dining experience. Our only complaint is that we didn't go sooner. Note that we are Canadian but my husband is Sicilian decent and knows Italian food:)

07/07/2026: A Hidden Gem in Sicily – Our Best Dining Experience in Italy After traveling all around Italy, we ended our trip in Sicily, and without a doubt, our best dining experience happened at Spelonca. The truffle carpaccio was absolutely mouthwatering, the sea urchin pasta was incredible, and even the roasted potatoes were unbelievably delicious. Every dish was prepared with so much care and flavor. What made the experience even more special was the staff. My daughter wanted a turkey pizza, but it wasn't on the menu. One of the wonderful employees actually shared the turkey she had brought for her own lunch so the chef could make the pizza for her. That level of kindness and hospitality is something we'll never forget. It's easy to see why this place is so popular. If you're planning to visit, make sure to reserve your table well in advance. Thank you for making the perfect ending to our Italian vacation!

13/05/2026: My wife and I had dinner last week, savoring the house seafood appetizer, consisting of nine different dishes, each more delicious and tantalizing than the last. We then ordered mixed grill and fried calamari, both excellent. The Sicilian cannoli and mandarin sorbet rounded out a five-star dinner. The friendliness of the owner and staff was also excellent, as was the quality/price ratio. We will definitely be back!
09/05/2026: It's always a wonderful experience. The food is delicious, from the seafood appetizers to the pizza. Every course is meticulously prepared, down to the smallest detail, both in appearance and, above all, in flavor. The prices are truly excellent. The staff is friendly and always available.
