The kitchen is the heart of every restaurant, and the one here is performing well on all 8 cylinders. The service failings we noted last year have been somewhat mitigated. There are more wait staff and they will swarm you with somewhat frenetic energy. A few of the wait staff are genuinely friendly and others have their minds somewhere else. Mr. Romolo appears drifting in the background. A pity: the restaurant has all he components of a memorable venue. All that is missing is some genuine warmth and appreciation of the patrons that are paying the tab.
