A'Lumeredda In Malfa

Ate both a lunch and a dinner here while staying on Salina, and enjoyed both meals so much...I only got one photo of the food. Had caper salad both meals, pizza, Pasta al Norma, and Spaghetti alla Vongole. All were excellent, well prepared and presented. Caper salad is the BOMB! Get it! Service was attentive, and the covered outdoor patio was perfect. In the evening a gentleman played the accordian--Italian classics and popular American tunes. Charming.

A good experience. The dishes were very good (Spaghetti with caper sauce, Maccheroni alla Norma and eggplant parmigiana…). We will return to try the pizzas.

I was looking for a characteristic place to spend a few hours of relaxation tasting local dishes with my family and I found all this in an atmosphere of friendliness and attention to the customer. Thank you very much

Characteristic Aeolian place where you can relax and enjoy food prepared as it once was and taste a glass of excellent local wine, with attention to cleanliness and comfort, we will definitely return

We had a great evening at A’Lumeredda, enjoying the grilled seafood platter, clam pasta, burrata pizza, Aeolian salad, and tiramisu. My partner especially loved the clam pasta—so simple, yet absolutely delicious—while I was all about the fresh grilled squid and that tiramisu… creamy, creamy mascarpone and rich, coffee-soaked layers! 🥹 The atmosphere was lovely, with an accordion player serenading guests as the sun set over the surrounding gardens.

It’s a real pity I didn’t have another stomach to savour more of what this lovely restaurant had to offer! Delicious food, great service (v romantic), and relaxing al fresco atmosphere. While the fish & pasta were great, the ultimate gem was the local antipasti of local vegetables. Never have I had such fresh, fragrant, flavourful vegetables in all of Italia. Their homegrown Malvasia delle Lipari is sublime too. Top it all off, they had a talented pianist serenade us with his melodic accordion. Told myself I’ll leave after the next song, ended up staying for several hours just enjoying his music. It might not be 1-star Michelin like Signum, but I’ll definitely be here when I’m back in Malfa

Wir kamen um 20 Uhr und bekamen die ersten Speisen um 21 Uhr serviert. Das ist schon lang. Und leider gab's auch keinerlei Starter vorneweg wie mal Oliven oder etwas Brot (Brot wurde serviert, nachdem der Hauptgang eingetroffen war, das ist leider die falsche Reihenfolge). Die Speisen waren ein wenig "trocken" die Scaloppine al Limone waren ohne die leckere Limonencreme, die wir so lieben, sondern es lag halt ein Limonenschnitz daneben. Der Service war aber freundlich, die Preise sind fair, der weisse Hauswein war aber leider nicht so der Klopper. Dafür gab's aber zum Schluss einen Limoncello auf's Haus. Das allein ist schon mal einen Punkt wert, denn das kennt der italienische Wirt auf den Äolischen Inseln sonst eigentlich leider nicht (anders als seine Kollegen in Deutschland).
