Tipico ristorante di quartiere della cintura borghese di Roma nord. Se ci vivi sopra puoi anche andarci. Non merita viaggi lunghi, anche per inimmaginabili difficoltà di parcheggio. La cucina è un po’ ristretta, con poche offerte non particolarmente memorabili. Al contrario, vi è un’esibizione di bottiglie di vino da togliere il fiato. Ma io non bevo. I prezzi sono più alti del necessario.

We frequent this splendid restaurant, both with my wife and with our child, who is always welcomed with an affectionate gesture by the staff. Every lunch and dinner here was a unique experience: never once were we disappointed by the cuisine or the service. Congratulations to those who were able to build and lead such a prepared and attentive team, capable of making us experience a truly excellent gastronomic and human journey. The menu varies often, allowing us to always try something new and appetizing, so much so that we always leave with the desire to return. If you are passionate about wine, the wide selection and expert advice of the sommelier are an unmissable added value.

Everything was delicious, the pasta carbonara and caccio e pepe were incredible. The fried provolone is also very delicious. We tried the cream for dessert and it was delicious. Very good service, we will repeat without a doubt.

Sono stato a pranzo in questo ristorante di Balduina durante la settimana. Il locale è molto carino. Lo staff disponibile e cortese. Il cibo ottimo. Interessante la possibilità di ordinare anche mezze porzioni delle pietanze. Prezzo nella media del quartiere. Ottima carta dei vini. Consigliato.

07/01/2025: Camera 501. Incredibilmente rumorosa...vi invito a passarci una notte. Neppure il televisore. Neppure wifi. Solo la cena si è salvata.
07/01/2025: We took advantage of the New Year's Eve package 120 euros per person, dinner + overnight stay + breakfast. The simple, clean room with bathroom with window was located outside the main building. Quiet and pleasant place, surrounded by mountains. Dinner served in the restaurant room, excellent menu, friendly, professional staff always available to supply water, wine and cutlery. For the toast and dancing we moved to another room where sweets and lentils were served. Breakfast with local products such as jams, artisan desserts, bread, cured meats and cheeses. Compliments to the staff. Perfect place to visit the many monasteries in the area and Subiaco.

Osteria dell’elefante

18/11/2024: We went to this restaurant for lunch, also attracted by the cellar since we have a healthy passion for the nectar of Bacchus. The place is really exciting, you find yourself inside an ancient cave dug into the tuff where mammoths lived millions of years ago, intact inside you can appreciate an artefact. The catering is excellent, the appetizers (cutting board and carpaccio), the potato gnocchi (the real ones!!) and the trimmings sauce well present on the plate. The second courses are really good, chicken stuffed with all sorts of goodies and cheek in Cesanese reduction on pumpkin (it's autumn). Dessert? That too was good, Cesanese grape sorbet at the end of the sumptuous lunch. The suggested wines lived up to expectations. Truly recommended place and where I will return very soon. Anyone who doesn't go to the Osteria dell'Elephant is a teetotaler!
11/11/2024: Wonderful place, excellent food, impeccable staff... what can I say... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
