Fantastic dinner experience in a classy and calm environment, just 2 minutes from the Amendola station (M1 line). Starters, primi and dessert, all classics with a little touch. All based on outstanding produce. A broad wine list, with a few by the glas. Very friendly service.

A pleasant discovery, both for the very chic but without excessive pretensions environment and for the very "classic" but well-kept and seasonal menu. As often in Milan, a restaurant listed in the Michelin guide costs the same as many other banal restaurants and trattorias in the centre. Final accounts? €61 each with a starter and second course each, and two bottles of red for 6.

ALTRIMÉNTI is a hidden pearl in the heart of Milan, a restaurant that manages to combine elegance, youth and hospitality in a perfect balance. From the first entrance you perceive the warm and inviting atmosphere, with a young but at the same time highly professional staff. The manager, who also appears to be the owner, stands out for his extraordinary competence that goes beyond his young age. His knowledge of wines is remarkable: he knows how to recommend the right wine, with a wine list that, despite being expanding, is already stimulating and of quality. The welcome is simply elegant, and the service is precise and courteous. The staff is always ready to put customers at ease. The restaurant also stands out for a good selection of wines, which, although still to be enriched, already represents a valid complement to the dishes offered. Let's get to the main dish: the food. ALTRIMÉNTI offers a choice of five first courses, five second courses and three or four desserts, a proposal that reflects the quality and excellence of the cuisine. I have already visited the restaurant four times and on each occasion I have tasted dishes that impressed me with their simplicity and concreteness. The dishes are not loaded with frills, but are taken care of down to the smallest detail, highlighting the great quality of the raw materials. The lasagna, spaghetti with spring onions and courtyard ragù are simply delicious, each with a unique flavor that leaves its mark. The second courses are equally sensational, with starters not to be missed, such as cod and calamari. Every bite is a taste experience that highlights the skill in the kitchen and the attention to the selection of ingredients. I would say that it has the potential to become an unbeatable point of reference in the Milanese gastronomic scene and I sincerely hope that it continues on this path. However, a small note concerns the placemats: although it is a detail, I would prefer a more elegant and clean tablecloth, which better reflects the high level of the restaurant. There is also a big positive point: they don't describe the dishes to you and make you eat them. I can no longer stand the descriptions of what I ordered and have already read. In summary, ALTRIMÉNTI is a place that manages to conquer with its culinary offering and service, maintaining a young and dynamic atmosphere. I will certainly continue to frequent it, with the hope that it can grow further, becoming a point of reference for Milanese gastronomy.

ALTRIMÉNTI è una perla nascosta nel cuore di Milano, un ristorante che riesce a coniugare eleganza, gioventù e accoglienza in un perfetto equilibrio. Fin dal primo ingresso, si percepisce l’atmosfera calda e invitante, con un personale giovane, ma al contempo altamente professionale. Il responsabile, che sembra essere anche il proprietario, si distingue per la competenza che va oltre la giovane età. La sua conoscenza dei vini è notevole: sa consigliare il vino giusto, con una carta che, pur essendo in espansione, è già stimolante e di qualità. L’accoglienza è impeccabile e gioviale e il servizio è preciso e cortese. Il personale è sempre pronto a mettere i clienti a proprio agio e a suggerire con professionalità le migliori scelte per un’esperienza gastronomica. Veniamo al piatto forte: il cibo. ALTRIMÉNTI offre una scelta di cinque primi, cinque secondi e tre o quattro dolci, una proposta che riflette la qualità e l’eccellenza della cucina. Sono già quattro le volte in cui ho visitato il ristorante e in ciascuna occasione ho assaporato piatti che mi hanno impressionato per la loro semplicità e concretezza. Le pietanze non sono caricate da fronzoli, ma sono curate nei minimi dettagli, mettendo in risalto la grandissima qualità delle materie prime. Le lasagne, gli spaghetti con i cipollotti e il ragù di cortile sono semplicemente deliziosi, ognuno con un sapore unico che lascia il segno. I secondi piatti sono altrettanto strepitosi, con antipasti da non perdere, come il baccalà e i calamari. Ogni boccone è un’esperienza di gusto che evidenzia l’abilità in cucina e l’attenzione per la selezione degli ingredienti. Concludo affermando che questo ristorante ha il potenziale per diventare un punto di riferimento nella scena gastronomica milanese e spero vivamente che continui su questa strada. Tuttavia, un piccolo appunto riguarda le tovagliette: pur trattandosi di un dettaglio, preferirei la classica tovaglia, più elegante e pulita, che meglio rispecchi l’alto livello del ristorante. In sintesi, ALTRIMÉNTI è un luogo che riesce a conquistare con la sua proposta culinaria e con il servizio, mantenendo un’atmosfera giovane e dinamica. Sicuramente continuerò a frequentarlo,

Excellent sea and land proposals, for a varied menu of Italian inspiration but which ranges with a bit of careful research. I recommend it. A note: parking in the area is not very easy

Great experience in Milan! One of the owners - Damian - is Polish! We had two lovely evenings in this pub, where we felt like we were having a family dinner. Of course, top food, great wine and service! I recommend it the most!

Absolutely amazing place! We had been there 2 times and it was a delight. Everything is great - the food, the wine, the people. If you have a chance to visit only one restaurant in Milan - choose Altrimenti!
