A little hidden jewel in Greco, which as soon as you enter makes you forget you are on the northern outskirts of Milan. No more cold, no more rain, just a nice warmth, repeated sincere smiles and a delicate and intense menu, which walks between Mediterranean flavours, forest scents and Nordic delights. Oh what a lovely surprise!

Food that to define as "excellent veggie" is belittling: experimentation with Asian and Middle Eastern, as well as African, ingredients and cooking methods; Pumpkin and sage tempura in dashi broth, fried artichoke with tahini sauce and African bread and Béarnaise sauce… too many to mention! A global kaleidoscope of cuisines and traditions that are truly impressive in the quality of the result. Excellent 4-course menu, but don't be scared by the 6-course menu as it is very doable for an average hungry person. Go!

Third time in this particular place, dinner on Monday evening 11/18.
Unfortunately, I had booked thinking of finding the mushroom-based menu reported on their Instagram page, but upon our arrival we realized that the menu was completely different (the current one indicated on the stories, with dishes such as artichoke tempura, cauliflower, etc. ).
On the one hand, it was a small disappointment, because in places where the menu often changes you choose to come specifically to try what is on the program at that moment. On the other hand, I still liked the new menu, but unfortunately my girlfriend doesn't like artichokes or cauliflowers. This meant an encore for me (positive side!) but a certain disappointment for her, who didn't appreciate not being able to eat what she expected.
I reported this situation to, I think, the sommelier who made us pay at the cash register. He explained to me that the menu I was waiting for had already finished on Friday, which is understandable. However, there had been no update on the Instagram page, and indeed the previous menu was still present among the reels. I then noticed that that post was removed the next day.
We ordered a bottle of wine which, unfortunately, arrived only after we had already started the first course (this means that we had also already finished the greeting from the kitchen). Having worked in catering, I pay a lot of attention to these details, and certainly I would have preferred the bottle to be served before starting to eat.
A positive point certainly goes to the dining room staff: the girls were very kind, in particular one (with a nose piercing) who was really welcoming and always smiling, which I really appreciated.
There were other aspects that I didn't find up to par:
• the boy in the dining room "slammed" the bill on us directly at the table while we were still finishing the dessert and the bottle of wine was still full. We hadn't asked for the bill and the impression was that of wanting to invite us to leave the table, even though the place was still full and many other customers were finishing their desserts.
• Another unpleasant detail was seeing the table cleaned, causing crumbs to fall on the floor, between me and my girlfriend. I don't know if it's the restaurant's choice or carelessness, but it wasn't a pleasant scene.
It's a shame, because this was the third time I'd come and, despite being fond of the place, I was disappointed by the overall situation.
