We loved our stay at Agriturismo Altana del Motto Rosso. The room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The two dinners we attended were delicious and very generous. And we received a very warm welcome. We highly recommend it.

Gorgeous place! The owner greeted us warmly upon arrival and made our first weekend with our new dog a wonderful one. The rooms were clean and functional, the location is surrounded by nature yet just steps from both lakes (Orta and Maggiore), and the service was superb. Not much else to say except see you next time and thank you!

Extremely well-maintained and welcoming environment with clean and well-maintained rooms. Breakfast is home-style, with excellent products. The owner is kind, knowledgeable, and very friendly. A perfect place for those seeking rest and relaxation, just minutes from Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta.

Easy to get to and very quiet. The owner and his family were excellent in their welcome and made us feel at home. The room was large and clean. Recommended for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle.

11/04/2026: Evening with friends, delicious and plentiful dinner. The girls were helpful and friendly.
07/04/2026: I had dinner here with a friend. The fried fish was frozen, but good and easy to digest. The Tyrolean puccia was good, crispy and light. The service was sketchy. The young woman who served us, however, was very kind and cheerful. I don't know what the first courses, second courses, or pizza are like, but maybe I'll come back someday. The prices were average for the area. The atmosphere was very basic. Overall, good.
