We went there by chance as a stopover. We were pleasantly surprised. Only my son spoke German and English. But everyone was very friendly and helpful. Electricity was available at the site, but it was very isolated and not many pitches. Clean restrooms. Shower and toilet. The food was simply excellent and inexpensive. Just like at Mom's. We'd love to go back.

Nice and quiet place, immersed in the countryside a few km from the lake. It lacked a bit of hospitality and thoughtfulness. I recommend putting an extra bin in the room at least to throw away plastic, and in the bathroom put at least a shampoo shower in the shower. There was also no hair dryer but I had brought it with me. Lots of bedbugs.

Clean and spacious rooms, kindness and friendliness! We had dinner and everything was delicious! I recommend it and we will return. Place far from the noise: fantastic! Thanks Simona see you soon

We booked the structure using the SmartBox box. The place is very quiet and the room clean. The structure is quite convenient for moving around the lake. We were welcomed with kindness and helpfulness. We also had dinner included in the box, all made by them! Compliments!

On January 4th, my partner and I wanted to spend a few days in absolute serenity in the area between Orta and Arona. I chose the Altana farmhouse for its location and because it gave me tranquility. My sixth sense proved me right. I recommend it wholeheartedly. The owners are welcoming and very helpful, as is their art in cooking excellent dinners.

01/02/2025: We went for lunch today. Super friendly owner, careful to entertain his guests in a simple environment where you can breathe the air of home. We ate 2 first courses and they were delicious. We can't wait to return in the warmer weather to appreciate the tables in the outdoor space
