A truly unique, almost magical experience, enjoyed in the heart of a tuff cave that seems suspended in time. The menu was a constant discovery: sophisticated yet authentic dishes, where each ingredient is clearly perceived, like a symphony of local flavors presented with passion and respect. The soft egg with truffle and the tagliolini with cabbage definitely exceeded all expectations. Rarely do you taste cuisine so creative yet so deeply rooted in the land and memory. The Tellus wine, expertly served, completed a perfect sensory journey. It's just a shame the restaurant closed shortly afterward—we were lucky enough to arrive in time for an experience that will remain etched in our memory. A place that spoke to the heart and the palate.

A quality restaurant in the small village of Civita di Bagnoregio. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, which was truly excellent. Prices are slightly above average, but justified by the exceptional quality of the dishes, which are far from the typical fare one might find in an osteria. I highly recommend anyone stop by and try their dishes. Reservations aren't possible for lunch, but the wait isn't more than an hour. Plus, you can arrange a meeting with the waiters to reserve tables at a time that works for both of you.

Omg Who would expect the best meal of your life on the other side of the world from New Zealand in a tiny little village Civita. Every mouthful was a beautiful combination of amazing flavours so subtle but full of flavour. I started with beef tartar a favourite of my husbands but I have never personally ordered before it was absolutely sublime 3 x generous sized mounds of different flavours each unique but complimentary to the other. My husband started with a mozzarella dish which was also very tasty. My next serving was pork loin also something I don’t usually order that was unbelievably delicious as well. Hubby had a most amazing chicken dish. We both finished with the Civita tiramisu talk about melt in your mouth yummy. The service is exceptional the beautiful music playing and everything together makes you feel like you are close to heaven. You feel like you’re surrounded by family as the are so friendly & welcoming.

In a place that's "extremely touristy, especially at certain times of the year," it's hard to find a place that makes you feel an integral part of a WONDERFUL DIMENSION, both architecturally, socially, and culinaryly. Congratulations, guys, congratulations to the dining room, congratulations to the cuisine (the umbrichelli and filetto were top-notch - the chef's surprise dessert mix), congratulations to the intimate location, and, above all, to Alessandra, who, with her spontaneity, told us about a land and a "buffer zone" waiting to be discovered. Her knowledge (since she, an architect, is actually a...helper to her family here...) introduced us to the hinterland, which is truly worth visiting. DON'T GIVE UP, guys, don't give up, because there really is a need for "real" places like this! P.S. Besides an intimate location, it's a spotlessly clean place...especially the bathroom, and that says it all.
