The best restaurant in the center I've eaten at in the last 20 years.
The owner takes orders, and he's super professional and friendly. The sommelier is excellent and very kind. They offer mainly Bolognese wines, and even though we ordered wine by the glass, they opened the bottle in front of me. Unmissable. The only high-end restaurant left in the center, given that many famous restaurants in Bologna have changed ownership and become tourist traps with poor food and terrible service. Reservations are required, but it's worth it.

A dinner can be pleasant, satisfying, even interesting... but few times is it memorable, and here at Bottega it was, thanks to the extraordinary food, the excellent wine, but above all, the experience offered by the staff and the owner's passion.

We chose All'Osteria Bottega seeking an authentic taste of La Grassa, and this restaurant delivered a genuinely profound dining experience. This is not merely a meal; it is a meticulous celebration of Bolognese culinary heritage.
The commitment to tradition is clear in every dish, starting with the pasta. The Tortellini in Brodo offered the kind of delicate, soulful simplicity you hope for in Bologna—perfectly tender pasta cradled in a golden, clear broth. It’s a flawless expression of a regional staple.
However, the true highlight—and the reason we will return—was the Braised Pigeon. Served with an incredibly rich, deep reduction sauce, the meat was cooked to absolute perfection: tender, flavorful, and profoundly satisfying. It is clearly a signature dish of the house and a must-order for anyone who appreciates classic game preparation.
The atmosphere is intimate and warm, and the service is highly professional yet friendly. If you are worried about finding "tourist traps" in Italy, rest assured: All'Osteria Bottega is a serious, world-class institution dedicated to preserving and elevating Bolognese cooking. Book ahead, order the pigeon, and savor every bite

Simply perfect, this place's hallmarks are friendliness and quality.
We were greeted upon arrival with a welcome aperitif while we waited for our table, and our coats were taken. When we ordered, they explained the dishes in detail, featuring local and authentic ingredients, such as the free-range guinea fowl, delicious and highly recommended.
The dishes are served on fine German porcelain, which only adds to the pleasure of this truly exciting experience, one we'll definitely repeat!
We'll especially remember Marco's manners, friendliness, and kindness.
Definitely worth a try.

Non ho mai provato la cucina emiliana/bolognese autentica nella Città di Bologna e spulciando sul web ho scelto questo ristorante.
Scelta azzeccata.
Eccezionale la tagliatella fatta in casa con culatello tagliato a coltello.
Mix di sapori.
Superlativa la petroniana, mai assaggiata e curioso di vedere com'era.
Peccato non aver assaggiato la zuppa inglese

Bel locale da raggiungere a piedi con posti all’interno ed all’esterno (sotto il portico) per la bella stagione. È uno dei pochi locali in centro rimasti fedeli al deal della buona cucina. È che dire la qualità della materia prima oltre che buona è ricercatissima. Anche dai semplici antipasti di affettati si percepisce la qualità superiore degli stessi rispetto agli altri competitors: un consiglio la loro salciccia cruda. Tagliatelle fatte a mano e tagliate a coltello. Un consiglio : il condimento al friggione. Sui secondi si prende bene su tutto, così come sui dolci. Ampia scelta di ottimi vini del territorio e non solo. Prezzi un po’ più alte della media ma ne vale la pena. Vi consiglio di prenotare
