Sublime to the palate!
Tagliatelle reminded me of the flavors that dada, an excellent cook, had accustomed me to! The fantastic friggione, a simple delight, deserves an "unsurpassable".
The artfully created tortelloni! The lady cotoletta petroniana soft and filled with flavor.

It was insanely difficult to reach this place by telephone to make a reservation. The service was amazing. The food was good, nothing special though. Except for the artichokes as a starter, they were so good!

Location close to the center of Bologna, with the typical historic portico. The environment is truly steeped in local tradition. Truly professional service. Reservations are recommended given the high turnout and limited seating available. Truly interesting menu with specialties of cured meats and cheeses, but the highlight is the pigeon, truly delicious and unmissable. Lasagna perhaps not at the level of other restaurants in Bologna, better to go elsewhere. Excellent desserts. High price and above average but all in all fair considering the location, the service and above all the extreme quality of the food.

food is.. why we traveled here and it didn’t disappoint. I do LOVE tortellini in brodo and that’s what I wanted to try if I had a single meal in bologna. It was amazing. Mortadella was amazing, I wish it was this good in LA. Service was exceptional as well. I still remember the server’s face when I asked for a little red pepper for my brodo, he was baffled and tried to out it in kind words why red pepper would be overpowering but he would bring it if I wanted. I do love the passion & commitment to food, so I just switched to black pepper instead. I would be there in a heartbeat if I’m ever back in Bologna.

All' Osteria Bottega is a traditional restaurant in a quiet part of Bologna; a 10 or 15 minute walk away from the tourist flood. For lunch, my partner started with a salad while I had an eggplant parmigiana. For secondis, my partner had a pasta and I had lamb shank. Nothing astounding but all well executed.
Make a reservation in advance. We called several days in advance and could not get a dinner reservation. We were able to get a 2:00 lunch reservation.

Este restaurante estaba situado por un pequeño carril de la carretera principal. Pensamos que estaba cerrado, ya que toda la zona parecía extremadamente tranquila en marzo. Sin embargo, una vez que entramos en el restaurante, encontramos que estaba casi lleno y apenas logramos sentarnos en una mesa, la última. La comida era buena, el servicio era bueno a pesar de la gran cantidad de huéspedes.
