Beautiful location overlooking the valley, always a light breeze to escape the heat of the city. Unfortunately these two reasons are not enough to go back another time. The giardiniera seemed more like vegetables in oil. The fried gnocco is a reinterpretation of the inn. The tagliata was more like a roast beef and the fillet was full of nerves. Compliments for the potatoes, really good.

I went there for dinner with friends, a beautiful place, a wonderful view outside and a noteworthy cuisine: in particular I appreciated the appetizer, with an excellent fried gnocco and the classic tortelli. The baked potatoes are very crunchy. (I do not rate the rooms, because we did not stay overnight)

We had tagliolini with venison ragù and they were spectacular!
They tell me the cheesecake is excellent.
The only warning for those not used to the place is to reach the restaurant because it is nestled in the heart of the hill (for a polenta lover used to the Po Valley prairies it is not the most practical 😆)

Excellent tavern with beautiful view
Last night I had the pleasure of having dinner in a lovely place. Particularly suggestive location, attentive and kind staff, well-prepared Piacenza cuisine. We chose this location for my husband's birthday, we were about fifteen people and I must say that from when we arrived and entered to when we left we always found everything perfect, from the food to the place. First we started with some fried dumpling appetizers, beautiful wooden cutting boards on which to place the sliced meat, portions of gardener, courses of asparagus omelette, courses of polenta with a garnish of gorgonzola flanked by red onions garnished with balsamic vinegar. Moving on to the first courses we chose two spectacular tortelli courses with butter and sage, portions of tagliatelle with wild boar ragù which I can say were super, the wild boar couldn't taste the wild flavor it melted in the mouth. As a second course we opted for both the lamb chops and slices of cut meat that melted in your mouth. For dessert we had brought a cake as it was my husband's birthday. A place that really deserves a lot, a little hidden but in its privacy it gives you emotions with a spectacular view. My husband discovered this by accident and it was the best discovery ever. We will be back soon, it will be our escapade every now and then.
