Frescoes in Pompeian-Roman style from the 19th century, very good food, it was a former storage room during the archaeological excavations of Ostia, now there remain some amphorae from the Roman era and a bust of Nero, I recommend it to all archaeologists and history lovers. Very interesting the fact that it is a restaurant that has been running for 3 generations, since 1800. The frescoes were created by former students of the fine arts. It is a true jewel of Ostia. Very friendly and nice staff, very kind. Delicious appetizers and exceptional pizza It is also recommended for communions and confirmations!👍

We went to this place for a dinner with friends. The service leaves a little to be desired as an order was forgotten by the staff. We liked the gnocchi with clams, shrimp and truffle, but it was not possible to distinguish the truffle on the plate. The carbonara was good, but nothing exceptional. Afterwards we ordered a pizza with supplì, definitely recommended. The pizza was delicious, but be careful when cooking, as some parts of the edge were burnt.

Touristy and picturesque place. Reasonably good quality, even considering the prices are not exaggerated. Wide choice of typical Roman dishes, with a little seafood. A first course, a glass of white wine and coffee 22 euros.

Locale un po’ chic ma buona qualità della pizza (scrocchiarella tipica romana) sia per impasto che per quantità. Servizio veloce (ottimo per seguire poi gli spettacoli teatrali serali nella splendida atmosfera di Ostia antica) ma non eccezionale. Prezzi medio alti nonostante lo sconto The Fork
