We have been very comfortable and calm. The food was very good, also very affordable. The best thing was the women who work there, who were understanding with the children who accompanied us and let them take photos with Roman helmets that they had on display. A pleasure to visit!

Hidden gem where the local Italians come. 120% kitschy inferiors. The food is fantastic (pasta served on a hot pan, fresh fish, lemon sorbet with prosecco...) and the prices are reasonable.

Ancient Roman atmosphere, delicious cuisine with well-filled plates, really good service with the waiter dressed as an ancient Roman. Not expensive at all, 10€ the pasta which is really the best I tasted during my stay in Italy

If you're visiting Ostia Antica and want to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of ancient Rome, this restaurant is a great choice. The staff, dressed as Romans, add to the experience, and the decor enhances the historical vibe. The food is simple but excellent, focusing on quality ingredients and traditional flavors. Friendly service makes the meal even more enjoyable. A fun and authentic spot for a break after exploring the ruins!

Location incantevole Posizione magica, accanto agli scavi Proprietari bravi, siamo entrati passando per caso, eravano in chiusura ma ci hanno accolto benissimo con mega Antipasti e dolci super Da tornare presto Consigliatissimo Prezzi onestissimi

26/12/2024: Upon entering we were immediately attracted by the very simple look and the small but warm and comfortable environment. Special dishes, essentially based on porchetta and cured meats. The millefeuille is delicious. But the pasta and beans and the lasagna are also excellent. The house wine is delicious and has a genuine flavour. Friendly and welcoming owner. Good value for money. We will be back.
10/12/2024: If you are looking for first courses and if you are in a hurry, go elsewhere. Here you can find, combined with typical products, top quality ingredients, refined but still without frills and pretensions. The combinations with porchetta (millefoglie) were, for us, a surprise that we feel we must share. The plating is well taken care of, far above the standards of fraschette and osterias. Claudio was very kind, helpful and friendly. It is one of the few places where we will certainly return. Parking difficulty: very high in the vicinity.

05/05/2025: Mi fermo spesso e certamente la ristrutturazione seppur fredda ( nel gazebo metterei qualche pianta anche verde tra le due porte ) e’ un bel punto . erano le 8.30 e la musica era molto rock . oramai nei posti ci si ferma e magari ci si passa una mezz’ora consumando anche altro . educatamente dico al titolare non si potrebbe mettere una cosa tranquilla ? risposta “ per noi siamo gia avanti nella giornata ( 8.30 !) noi ci addormentiamo “ reputo che un cliente educato va sempre ascoltato perche suo agio ne stare li conta ! lavoro come pr in un locale ma oggi conta il cliente o il padrone ? credo che sarebbe stata cortese una risposta piu’ accogliente . posto carino ma potrebbero affinare la grana ! con cappuccino al tavolo dovrebbero portare acqua . Ha potenziale ma un po’ piu di passione andrebbe al Top
