Nice and welcoming place, the staff a bit rude (the waitress shouted at us), the menu options were tempting, but the food arrived cold. I wasn't entirely satisfied.

The simple yet appropriate atmosphere made me feel at ease. Authentic and unique dishes. Excellent service. I'll definitely be back. (Kitchen open from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM).

A lovely place in the heart of Venzone, just steps from the cathedral. Excellent service, friendly and attentive staff. A compact, typically Friulian menu, with meat dishes cooked medieval-style.

Recommended by a local, they're kind, but if you have a menu with four items listed, it's not nice to be told the first two I asked for "because they're on the menu" aren't there, without any explanation or a valid alternative. If they're no longer there, remove them from the simple menu! Then, since you really value fresh pasta and the local flours used, tell the chef to also enhance the condiments used. It's my opinion, but honestly, I didn't understand what I ate. Vegetables cooked without any flavor, spiced potatoes, no comment. But I'm sure you can do better. I must have come on the wrong night...

A very nice place to stop for a bite to eat in the beautiful old town of Venzone. Friendly, attentive staff. Excellent handmade pasta. Ideal for cyclists, but also for all other visitors to Venzone.

Very, very friendly service, very good food, and a lovely atmosphere. 1 point deducted because the pasta portions were really quite small. After the delicious tiramisu, we were still full 😉

23/10/2025: A small trattoria overlooking a beautiful landscape. Excellent food and generous portions, fast service, and reasonable prices. If you go on weekends, it's best to book in advance. (To get there, there's a €5 parking fee in the area.)
12/10/2025: A quick lunch at the trattoria. I'd say the service was prompt and the food was plentiful. The atmosphere is rustic and unpretentious. Definitely a good place to eat after a few excursions.

06/11/2025: We stopped for lunch on the way; I can immediately recognize this little streetside spot by the rotisserie visible from the windows. We ordered a mixed cold cuts platter for two, and that was just right for two of us. It included excellent, flavorful cold cuts, a few olives, and a bit of cheese. For main courses, we had a Carinthian dish and a Friulian dish. The frico and polenta were delicious, the sausage very flavorful, the fries tasty even with a little salt, and the wurstels were very good. We didn't try the chicken, which is their specialty, but we'll save it for a future visit! The staff were kind and hardworking (we arrived when it was already a bit crowded). The wait can be long, but it's worth it!
