An excellent half-board option for our group after visiting the Marmore Falls. The fish dinner was a delight for everyone. The rooms were clean and recently renovated.

The restaurant is spacious, the decor is a bit retro, from the 80s, but elegant, unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. We did not eat badly, but there were some things that were not exactly ok, and we did not expect it, given the fame, praised by our friends. We took two first courses, gnocchi with clams that were amazing, and a risotto with scampi cream. The risotto arrived on a large plate, where there was very little rice and dressing, which they make a little less rosé, too much. My husband immediately reported the problem to the waiter saying "Did they forget the rice?" he replied "what?" and my husband repeated, to point out that the rice was floating in the dressing, he turned and left without even batting an eyelid. You don't do that in a serious restaurant. Other diners near us took the same dish, and it was right, a sign that the chef made a mistake, but they all didn't care a bit. The rest was good. Too bad. We had high expectations. 🤷 Advice? Ni.

What can I say... at Hotel Ristorante Da Valerio we found a friendly and helpful family... Marco and Chiara made us feel at home... so much kindness... we had a great time... we ate very well... Valerio served us a super breakfast... I highly recommend it 😃
