A couple runs this restaurant in a renovated 200-year-old building. It has a swimming pool, and the meat dishes are excellent in both taste and service. The atmosphere in the rooms is superb. It's quiet. Be careful on the national highway outside town, and I recommend going by car if possible. I want to go again.

Ristorante all'Angelo in Villa Rovere is a gem of fine dining in a historic building surrounded by nature. Excellent Mantuan and truffle-based dishes are served in generous quantities and made with quality ingredients. The rooms, which retain their original wooden ceilings, are welcoming and clean. Finally, I'd like to highlight the friendliness, courtesy, and professionalism of the staff: their motto, "Come in as a customer and leave as a friend," perfectly sums up our experience here. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely choose our next dining destination. Congratulations!

A restaurant with very nice rooms. They offer a lunch menu, but forget about the midday crowds. If you're having someone over, you'll definitely make a good impression. High quality and reasonable prices. Recommended.

13/04/2026: It's become a habit to dine here every now and then, to rediscover the flavors and aromas of ancient Mantuan cuisine. The dishes are well-prepared, starting with the pike in sauce, a unique and rare dish to find in these parts. The first courses are all fabulous, and the second courses are traditional. The wine cellar offers a good selection, and the staff is friendly and helpful. These are places that should never disappear.
