Happened by chance. Historic inn, polite and helpful staff. Top quality and genuine food. Grilled cooking in the room and without smoking, what more do you want?

This is a historic restaurant that is worth a visit for sure. The soup and the artichoke lasagne were both perfectly delicious. But the signature roast chicken main course was quite disappointing - the meat was very dry and overcooked. Also, air ventilation can be improved, especially when they have a charcoal grill indoors. Needless to say, it was really hot and stuffy, but became better when a few windows were opened.
I had been a few years ago and the experience was not exciting. Now everything has changed. Friendly, quick and efficient service. Excellent quality of food

Pleasant discovery of this place for a dinner; a dive into the past in this historic location, furnished with many objects from the past and also the staff dressed in historic clothes. The menu proposal is good; The meat was excellent, quality and well cooked on the grill. The fireplaces near the tables are very pleasant (even if you end up smoking). The service is a little slow. Recommended and I will be back!

We tried this restaurant as a family and were impressed by the quality of the food: well-presented dishes, excellent raw materials and truly refined flavours. The environment is also very pleasant, with original and welcoming furnishings that contribute to creating a nice atmosphere.
Unfortunately the service did not live up to expectations: the wait between the starters and the main courses was almost an hour, without any explanation. Furthermore, the waiters were not very attentive — we had to get up to ask for both water and the bill.
The cost is a little above average.
Overall, a good experience for the cuisine and the environment, but to be reviewed on the service front.

We visited the restaurant in April, during asparagus season. Of course, we tried it, very tasty with cheese and spices. We tried traditional ravioli and frico; the chicken was grilled right in the center of the room! But most of all I liked the dessert! The hostess greets you, a very nice woman! The staff speaks English. Possible with a dog. The restaurant received a Michelin star in 2018.

non ero mai stato a cenare in questo locale, storico ed unico nel suo genere. Piatti tipici ed anche alcune specialità alla griglia tra cui lo stupendo pollo.
Personale disponibile. Cibo di altissima qualità e gusto. Ottimo l'impiattamento. Cibi locali che il turista può assaporare. Ottima atmosfera romantica. Andateci.
