But the true heart of the place is Mr. Giuseppe: his overwhelming charm, his contagious joy, and above all, the songs that transform dinner into a special evening. Each melody, sung with passion and irony, brings the tables together, creates camaraderie, and makes you feel part of something genuine—just like in the olden days. The food is excellent, the dishes are carefully prepared and plentiful, but what makes Osteria Torre Gardelli unique is the soul that animates it: a person capable of cheering everyone who enters, of making the place vibrate with a laugh or an improvised verse. Restaurant very little frequented compared to the neighboring restaurants on the square and yet the service is impeccable (very friendly and attentive owners) and we enjoyed an aperitif menu where everything was very good. Excellent Focaccia Bianca. I recommend

The cappellacci with speck, brie, radicchio, and porcini mushrooms are FABULOUS. The staff is attentive and fast. The location is excellent.

The location is undoubtedly very touristy. The charm of Piazza Erbe is indisputable. Osteria la Torre is one of the many tourist places, you can tell from the menu offered. The dishes are decent, however. The mixed fry was excellent. The service was very good. Roberto was very friendly and attentive to our needs. A place to try for a nice evening in the city center.
