I stumbled upon this place by chance after a tour of the Vatican. I ordered pasta carbonara. It was incredibly delicious!

This is the baseline of an Italian restaurant. Nothing too fancy without skipping on the basic quality of the dishes. It wouldn't be a restaurant I'd come back, however I would recommend it to someone who is visiting Rome for the first time. Staff was amazing though, servers were fluent English speakers!

We booked online based on a friend's recommendation. It was very good, the service was quick, and the dining room was beautifully decorated. We will definitely return.

21/02/2026: We hadn't even looked for a place to eat porchetta; we were just a little hungry and stumbled upon it completely by chance. I'm not even a fan because it's often dry, with dry or rubbery rind, or even too tough to eat: this one is heavenly. If I lived here, I'd definitely become a regular. Just the right amount of moist, flavorful, with a crispy rind that melts in your mouth. The prosciutto in the other sandwich is also excellent; it's hard to find one of this quality.
