Alla Rampa dei Gracchi In Roma

Really good food, should be preferred to everything in the city center! We ended up here as it was convenient (close to our hotel; kitchen opened during the afternoon) and were pleasantly surprised by the dish we had in a rush. This made us come back the following day for a full dinner and it was brilliant. The pasta - we had 3 different ones, all tasted great - might be my main recommendation (Fettuccine al ragù bianco e pepe rosa - divine!) but also the starters (e.g. artichokes or seafood salad) are well worth a try. Prices are very decent for Rome, the place is close enough to the city to make the slight detour. Forget about everyone pointing out Trastevere, there are only tourist traps. This is classes better and not a Euro more expensive!

It's not a pizza place. The carbonara is good. Prices above average. 15 euros for carbonara but good. Perfect as a tourist trap.

In short, fantastic food and service. Had a such a great time. Highly recommended if you want good food and great time!

I give one star less and reflect: why pay so much for such simple and poor dishes? Everything is fine but we are exaggerating. Restaurant with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

It's now "our restaurant". I come back with my friends every year. Always here to be together, calm, enjoying excellent food. We will never change. The place is welcoming, very well looked after and this time the table was set in a particularly elegant way. A spectacle! No long waits. Maybe it was the time. Not because we were there for two and a half hours. We had a great time. As always. Elegance, tranquility, very attentive service but also a lot of patience. The staff never seemed impatient with our lingering chatter at the table. This makes us feel at home. We will always return.

A reasonably priced menu and one of the few restaurants that remains open between 3-7 pm. We enjoyed their fried veal, grilled chicken and mushroom soup.
