An insider tip. Unassuming from the outside until you step into the garden. A very cozy spot, if you ignore the occasional honking of the commuter boats. Jack gave us some advice on how to have a fish, a wine, and anything else off the menu on the table. Excellent quality.

A nice trattoria right on the canal (and on the main tourist street between Santa Lucia and San Marco). The outdoor seating is a surprise and, of course, pleasant. The food was good quality and reasonably priced. The service was rather mediocre.

The ambiance and service were good. The food itself was okay. I had the seafood pasta, which contained 1.5 shrimp and no other meat. For €16 and a rather small portion, it was unfortunately overpriced and disappointing.
Regarding the owner's comment: Please excuse the "inaccurate" description; it was indeed the linguine with shrimp, zucchini, and bacon. Nevertheless, this doesn't change the fact that there were only 1.5 shrimp in it, and the portion size wasn't that large for a full meal. In my opinion, this is disappointing for €16. I certainly didn't review the wrong restaurant, that's beyond question.

The restaurant scene in Venice is a jungle where you can find all kinds of animal and plant species for better or for worse. Trattoria alla Palazzina was a discovery and became a point of reference. Welcomed by Enrico, a journalist with family traditions, a character to be discovered, he begins to interact with prudent courtesy but then opens up his very hospitable cordiality. Short menu, no-frills dishes, above all impeccable: balanced, straightforward, convincing flavors. Baccalà alla vicentina with polenta, impeccable, very very good. Cuttlefish in ink with polenta, ditto with potatoes. Final sgroppino of great pleasure. Bonus to Enrico: for his witty friendliness and for having made me make peace with the white wine by recommending a more than valid label. Correct bill, very central location, dinner without any heaviness. Well done!

El aperitivo rápido antes de una cena romántica y perezosa huelga resultó ser uno de los momentos más destacados del día.
Teníamos el tartar de atún y cuando llegó a la mesa, se notaba por su color y exhibición que iba a estar bueno.
No fue, fue ESPECTACULAR, con un par de copas de Valpolicella Ripasso no se podía pedir un mejor comienzo de la noche.

Por encima de la media en los costos, pero no cobraba un cargo de cobertura, así que se igualó un poco en otros lugares. Agradable ambiente y aún así mantuvo su sensación de un restaurante italiano que no es demasiado turístico tarta. Música de fondo italiana - te puede gustar o puedes odiar. Estuvo bien para nosotros. El servicio era bueno y el jefe sale - o lo hizo cuando estábamos allí. La comida es muy muy buena, pero los tamaños de las porciones en el tamaño más pequeño. 30 e botella de vino poco impresionante. Esposa e hija tenían platos de pasta de pescado y dijo que estos eran los mejores platos que tenían en la semana que pasamos en Venecia.
