29/12/2025: Ten minutes walk from the train/bus station, you cannot complain about its location in Venice. Best part is that you don’t have to walk your luggage up and down the bridges. The room itself is ok, need a bit of furnishing but generally acceptable, slippers, body lotion, shampoo and bath soap all well equipped. Another plus point is the staff are friendly and helpful, one of the lady from the front desk can even remember our room number after our first night of stay (wow for her exceptional memory talent!) For this price range of hotel, I would certainly recommend people to stay at this hotel!

27/12/2025: CHC Continental, BW Premier Collection: a great choice in a great location in Venice The CHC Continental, BW Premier Collection is located just 350 meters from the Stn. St. Lucia station, right on the Grand Canal in Venice. Although it is a four-star hotel, it offers very good service and comfort. Upon arrival at the hotel, the staff took care of taking our luggage to our room, which is not a given in every four-star hotel. The room also has two small dumbbells and an exercise mat. I am also satisfied with the curtains that provide very good darkening of the room. Breakfast is served in the form of a buffet. High-quality and fresh ingredients are obviously used to prepare it. I also praise the quality of the coffee and the freshness of the fruit. It would be appropriate if the breakfast range were expanded to include smoked salmon. I see a small room for improvement in the juices, I prefer slightly thicker juices. But for a 4-star hotel, the current state is completely fine. During our visit, we asked the staff to borrow an iron and ironing board. The ironing surface of the iron was clean, without limescale. The kettle in the room was also properly descaled. The bathroom has a shower with two shower heads. I am satisfied that the bathroom set also included a comb and a small tube of toothpaste. There is also a bidet. In the minibar, 4 bottles of table (or mineral) water are available to guests free of charge. There is also a metal cabinet in the room for locking valuables. The hotel offers room service. At the time of our visit, the hotel was tastefully decorated for Christmas, and there was a decorated Christmas tree in the restaurant. The hotel staff also willingly took photos for our camera. The hotel willingly allowed us to store our luggage even after check-out, as we went for a walk before leaving Venice. Overall, I consider the staff's approach to be pro-client and I express my satisfaction. I consider a certain small disadvantage in terms of comfort that some of the rooms are located in a part of the building where, from the exit on a specific floor, it is necessary to overcome a few stairs down a narrow corridor and then up again. At first, it seemed like a small maze, but you can get used to it. I take into account the specifics of buildings in the historic center of Venice. I rate the CHC Continental Hotel, BW Premier Collection located at Lista di Spagna, Cannaregio 166 – 30121 – Venezia (VE) with five stars out of 5 on Google reviews.
