I went there for lunch; it's a really nice little place near the obelisk square. We had fettuccine with wild boar ragù and chitarrina with asparagus and bacon, both spectacular to say the least.
The service was fast and the atmosphere was lovely; we sat at the outside tables, but the inside dining room is beautiful.
I'm not from Tagliacozzo, but if I were to come back here, I would definitely return to this restaurant.

I had dinner last night with my husband. The atmosphere was well-maintained, quiet, and welcoming. The dining room staff were friendly and never intrusive. I think the owner/chef was available to describe the dishes with passion. The appetizer was a selection of cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by three jams that paired perfectly with the mature and semi-mature cheeses on offer. The first course was fettuccine with asparagus (creamed asparagus), guanciale, and blue cheese. The heifer rump carpaccio was noteworthy, but truly deserves an A+. A delight for the palate, the quality of the meat was excellent, seasoned to perfection. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

I'm sorry, but we didn't have a great time... the ravioli had very little sauce, the cured meats in the appetizer still had their skins on, the lamb was tough, and the potatoes were tasteless... the wait times were insane! I'm still giving it three stars because the steaks were good and the waitress was very kind.

He doesn't accept dogs and he's even sarcastic. I respect his wishes, but not the gratuitous comments. I definitely didn't eat there because you didn't let me. It happened in May/June 2024. I asked you that I'd be happy to eat at a table outside so as not to cause problems with the small dog. Do you remember now?

A true discovery in the heart of Tagliacozzo! If you love good meat, this restaurant is a must-visit. The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously crafted, perfect for a dinner with friends or a special occasion.
The quality of the meat is excellent: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to recommend the best cuts, with great passion and expertise. The service was impeccable, without ever being intrusive.

We visited this restaurant on Saturday evening for the town's beer festival. Although we hadn't booked, they found us a table for 9:30 PM. We started with a selection of cheeses and a platter of hand-sliced 24-month-old Il Conte di Tirano prosciutto (the prosciutto was truly excellent). The flavor was rich, intense, and balanced, likely due to the 24-month aging process. The cheeses were good, the quality was evident (the only thing I would have liked was a semi-mature or mature cheese, as they were all fresh), but obviously, the chef's choice was equally delicious. We then ordered two first courses: spaghetti alla chitarra with asparagus and Aquilano blue cheese, and potato gnocchi with guanciale, pumpkin, and Aquilano blue cheese. The dessert was excellent, a homemade ricotta and pear tart! We were very good, we'll definitely be back! Recommended.
