Returning to this restaurant after many years was an experience beyond expectations. Attentive and kind service, scrupulous description of the dishes and a refinement of the typical products that transformed a dinner into a true culinary experience. The wine cellar is excellent and well-stocked. Prices perfectly in line with the service offered. We will definitely return.

We had a great time, we tried it on a Sunday for lunch without a reservation. We were welcomed with education and kindness; very good polenta, exceptional meat from their farms as far as we understand.
I took a loin of scottona from the à la carte menu but they have a wide choice in terms of cuts and maturing.
Very fast service, very welcoming environment with beautiful internal fireplace.
Prices more than fair.
We know what to recommend in Tagliacozzo and where to return.

A restaurant in the center of Tagliacozzo (AQ) that pleasantly impressed me. First of all for the courtesy shown "at first glance", then for the quality of the food I ate (I will have to try some other things which I will leave until next time). I would like to take the liberty of giving a couple of pieces of advice, exclusively from my point of view, which do not affect the very full score I have assigned: the portion of pasta, given the goodness of the sauce, should be more abundant, while I strongly recommend serving the cold cuts without the covering. The service was excellent, quick, courteous and with the much appreciated addition of illustrating the dishes, confirming that the TV has made converts. Congratulations, I will come back with pleasure.

Anyone who wants to eat and enjoy first-class meat must come here. Visiting many restaurants in Italy it is difficult to find similar ones... Professionalism, tasty dishes starting from the appetizer well stocked with high quality cheeses and cured meats from the first courses and without a doubt meat with a wide choice, not to mention wines of all types. The owner is very knowledgeable and you can see that he loves his work, attentive to the smallest details and surrounded by all the serious and competent staff. Coming to eat here is like staying in our home, beautiful and welcoming... and there is no shortage of the warmth of the fireplace which from that touch of magic to the environment. It has now become our favorite restaurant!!

We are regular customers of the Alla Fontana restaurant which is located right at the entrance to the historic center of Tagliacozzo. The place is welcoming with the fireplace always lit where the owner, Domenico, prepares his meat specialities.
We were also yesterday November 2nd and we took:
Appetizer of Abruzzo cured meats and cheeses that Domenico carefully selects and describes in detail, accompanied by jams, really good and well-measured portions.
First courses: gnocchi with pumpkin, L'Aquila blue cheese and sausage and buffalo and spinach ravioli with ragout, both delicious.
Second course: roasted scamorza with honey and walnuts and sausages with a side of chicory.
At the end of the meal, cheesecake with berries and biscuits together with coffee and gentian liqueur.
The care and attention dedicated to the choice of raw materials is reflected in the dishes offered, the meats are very carefully chosen and of superior quality, some sizes are not always available precisely due to the claimed desire to offer the best, another gem is the proposal of wines and oils that enhance small realities that deserve to be recognized and discovered.
Even though the restaurant was full the service was fast and attentive. Domenico as always very kind and available to accommodate our requests and the girls at the service are always thoughtful and smiling.
Highly recommended, but be careful that it is always full, better to book in advance!!!!!

Small restaurant located near the entrance door of Tagliacozzo. The staff are friendly and helpful. The dishes are average and the portions are rather small. Finding ourselves in Abruzzo, we asked for kebabs, but the waitress calmly replied that they didn't make them. This left us quite perplexed. So we had to choose other dishes. The prices are higher than average, especially in relation to the portions which, as I said, are quite small. I don't feel like recommending it.

A beautiful discovery in the heart of Tatagliacozzo. All presented excellently and served with care, which is important to know - the owner is in the kitchen and expertly plays with the flavors and raw materials which are nothing short of first class. We stumbled upon it by chance but if there is an opportunity, we will gladly travel 130km to return to the charming village and to the restaurant which I highly recommend.

Tried it for the first time, a wonderful surprise. The raw materials and the care in preparing and presenting the dishes are five-star. The courtesy of the staff is no exception, a beautiful and characteristic place. Advised.
