Excellent hospitality, impeccable service with the utmost care and professionalism, the food is far above average, delicate dishes and expertly prepared... even the reheated dish, I'd say pro! In my opinion, among the best in Abruzzo.

Everything was very good. The selection of cheeses from the upper Abruzzo region was exceptional. The saffron chitarrina was a must-try. The meat and grilled scamorza cheese were cooked to perfection. What can I say...? Go!

Small but nice place, even small.
The portions aren't tavern-like. The two first courses we ordered were both 1/2 portions for me. A baked potato, a 7.50g steak (€50), which I'd say was a bit too much, and two small dessert portions, for a total of €103.

What are you looking for in an Osteria? Perfect... you've found an Osteria!!! We ate exceptional meat... cooked on the fireplace in front of us... excellent cured meats and cheeses, and top-quality vegetables. Excellent service from both the owner and the staff, always attentive to our requests. Excellent wine selection. Exceptional tarts.
Excellent value.
I think I ate the best meat in the area.
I forgot about the carpaccio... "Sublime"!

When tradition is good for the heart! It's unmissable. The grilled meat is definitely the highlight, but not only that... among the favorites are the carpaccio and gentian. Five stars don't do it justice. Bravo!

A lovely restaurant near the ancient city gate, close to the municipal fountain. Careful attention to the selection of dishes, the quality of the ingredients, the service, and the ambiance. The dining room has a fireplace. It's a welcoming space, with tables for couples and families. Good wine selection. The two owners, father and son, are very kind and knowledgeable. The facilities could use some updating. I highly recommend it; the prices are reasonable, and reservations are recommended.
