The key word to describe the culinary experience at Da Ruggero is: Wonderful! The chef delighted us with delicious dishes prepared with expert skill. The fish was so fresh it felt like a piece of the sea in our mouths. A welcoming location and excellent service. A special thanks to Luca, Mirco, and Silvia who pampered us with their expertise.

They were very friendly and funny, yet very professional, even with my golden retriever. As an appetizer, I had the best scallops I've ever had. The main course was very generously filled.

We went for a birthday dinner. The outdoor location features very elegant and discreet tables and gazebos (just the right distance between tables). The staff was VERY friendly. Special thanks to the waiter who served us throughout the evening. Thank you, Mirko, for making the dinner even more memorable. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back.

I was there on a Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm and since it had just opened there weren't many people. I was welcomed and presented with the menu and a dish of the day that wasn't on the menu. I was offered creamed cod, I chose spaghetti with clams and bottarga and a good grilled fish to finish with a simple coffee. Everything was very good, impeccable service and a very nice location. Especially for being in front of the fair. Highly recommended place, one small point, let's say, the menu at the table wasn't the same as the one on the website. Maybe due to the seasonality of the products. I had my eye on the tonnarelli with turnip tops and fish of the day as a first course and fish soup as a second course but they weren't there. No big deal, I ate very well anyway making other choices.

The restaurant is located outside the city close to the famous Verona fair. The restaurant is dedicated to fish with a brilliant plate of raw fish and an legendary fish soup. For white wines, don't hesitate to take the rare white wine of the house, as well as the superb Chianti Classico.
