Small typical Trieste restaurant. Excellent food, generous portions, friendly and helpful staff. The grilled ljubianska with roast sauce is recommended!

Do you want to taste typical Trieste cuisine, in the family atmosphere of a typical Trieste trattoria? You have to go to Bella Trieste, excellent food both meat and fish, the typical Trieste boiler accompanied by excellent beers 🍻 I recommend booking in advance

Vecchia trattoria che offre i migliori piatti della tradizione triestina; abbiamo ordinato prosciutto cotto tagliato a mano con rafano, baccala' e dentice mantecato ed un piatto di carne di cui non ricordo il nome. Prezzi molto ragionevoli, ma una rinnovata ai bagni non sarebbe male

E' la seconda volta in un anno che pranzo in questa osteria. L'ho frequentata "qualche" anno fa quando ero studente. Certo , l'ambiente è piuttosto piccolo ed avrebbe bisogno di una risistemata , però , e questo è fondamentale , si mangia
bene a prezzi onesti e , cosa impossibile a Trieste "qualche" anno fa, si beve anche bene. Gli gnocchi fatti in casa con busara di scampi buonissimi ed il fritto misto freschissimo , dorato ed asciutto. Non condivido i giudizi lapidari dati da alcuni avventori, è una osteria con cucina di quelle di una volta ,che ormai stanno scomparendo , vediamo di tenercela così com'è.
