Wonderful Spaghetti Al'Assassina!

So, food is fine , service is not that well!!!! Not recommend to visit it

Good food... I expected more from the zero-spicy spaghetti with assassin sauce. Anyway, everything was good, very kind.

Excellent restaurant in the center of Bari, with a quaint and beautiful interior, tastefully decorated with vibrant colors. The food is good; I enjoyed an excellent parmigiana, excellent meatballs, and a fabulous assassina—I gave it a thumbs up. Lastly, the atmosphere is very comfortable and the temperature is just right. The staff is friendly and attentive, without being annoying like at other restaurants.

I'd been told they make the best pizza in Bari, and I went and confirmed that the pizza is excellent: light dough, quality ingredients, and well-cooked. It's no big deal that I had to wait 45 minutes for my pizza. The staff kindly apologized and explained the reason for the delay, which I really appreciated. I'll definitely be back. 🍕👏🏼

The first night there was no table available, so we returned for lunch the next day. The food was tasty, but not outstanding. The portions are extremely small, so it's worth ordering more than one dish if you don't want to go hungry.

The overall experience was positive: the food was good, and there was a sense of harmony between the kitchen and the dining room. However, the ambiance, while elegant, was rather bland and struggled to convey the authentic spirit of Apulian tradition. The service was prompt, but not as attentive to the needs of the diner. The episode with the assassin was a prime example: when we asked to reduce the spiciness, we were told that the dish should be enjoyed solely as is, with no option for customization. The presentation of the dishes was excellent, but the portions seemed small. Six of us each ordered three appetizers and an assassina: the gastronomic satisfaction was greater than the quantity. The staff contributed to the detached atmosphere, but did not fully contribute to the restaurant's local identity. Finally, the bill was higher than expected, burdened by wine with no clear price indication. A good place for those who want a good taste of Apulian cuisine, but not for those looking to immerse themselves in its true essence.

Bel locale in centro a Bari. Assassina buona ma avrei preferito che la stracciatella fosse compresa nel piatto, invece l'abbiamo dovuta chiedere e non bastava nemmeno per 5 persone. Come antipasto abbiamo scelto dei straccetti di pollo e delle polpette, tutto ottimo.
