The first night there was no table available, so we returned for lunch the next day. The food was tasty, but not outstanding. The portions are extremely small, so it's worth ordering more than one dish if you don't want to go hungry.

The overall experience was positive: the food was good, and there was a sense of harmony between the kitchen and the dining room. However, the ambiance, while elegant, was rather bland and struggled to convey the authentic spirit of Apulian tradition. The service was prompt, but not as attentive to the needs of the diner. The episode with the assassin was a prime example: when we asked to reduce the spiciness, we were told that the dish should be enjoyed solely as is, with no option for customization. The presentation of the dishes was excellent, but the portions seemed small. Six of us each ordered three appetizers and an assassina: the gastronomic satisfaction was greater than the quantity. The staff contributed to the detached atmosphere, but did not fully contribute to the restaurant's local identity. Finally, the bill was higher than expected, burdened by wine with no clear price indication. A good place for those who want a good taste of Apulian cuisine, but not for those looking to immerse themselves in its true essence.

Good quality food, but comparable to most other places in Italy. There was no wine list, but we could negotiate with the staff. The service was neutral, the seating was not very comfortable. Overall, I would rate this place as average.

The restaurant was recommended to us by our host and we were completely satisfied. We had the local specialty spaghetti all assassina and it was great!

Spectacular! Delicious and a super Italian experience

A table of friends. Assuming that the food was enjoyed, I must emphasize the waiters' ability to sell you anything with portions they chose. For example, for the appetizers: after asking for something in the center, we found ourselves with all kinds of bruschetta and meatballs on the table. Or for dessert, having asked for a sporcamuss and two portions of magnum bomboniere to be placed in the center, we found ourselves with five portions on the table without having asked for them. Since some of us were students, it wasn't gratifying to have to spend more than we had planned without having any control over the situation. Moreover, we complained repeatedly about the waiters' rudeness towards customers, in this case, high-paying ones. Granted, the table was booked for 10:15 PM and we were a bit late, it's not nice to have to eat with waiters who clear away plates in a hurry and continue to be rude. It wasn't my first time there, but this was definitely the last, both for me and for the others at the table. Best wishes and good luck!

The food is divine. It's a shame the service leaves much to be desired. Having eaten there before, with a paper menu, we weren't told anything about the menu that can be downloaded with the QR code. In the end, we ordered, with great difficulty, from a verbally presented menu. We ordered two pizzas from the center, which arrived without plates for our guests. We ate them using placemats as plates. We asked for napkins, which never arrived. In the end, we used paper tissues, which luckily we had. We paid €193.00 for seven of us, which, considering what we ate, is reasonable. A discordant note was the €14.00 rice salad. The waitress served us with a rather annoyed air.

A very quaint place, serving good quality Bari-style cuisine. The prices aren't exactly basic, but considering the central location and the good food, it's reasonable.

Unfortunately I can't post photos, but I assure you that what we tasted (meatloaf in various ways, orecchiette with ragù, cavatelli with mussels, spaghetti all'assassina) was very good, we will definitely be back.

Bel locale in centro a Bari. Assassina buona ma avrei preferito che la stracciatella fosse compresa nel piatto, invece l'abbiamo dovuta chiedere e non bastava nemmeno per 5 persone. Come antipasto abbiamo scelto dei straccetti di pollo e delle polpette, tutto ottimo.
