Lunch with the family. A classic Sienese osteria, serving traditional dishes. The food is excellent, and the owners are very friendly. This charming place could use a little updating.

I had lunch with my wife at a strategic location near the Duomo. We ate outside. The food and price were average. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. The only downside was the arrogant and rude owner. We're currently touring the four restaurants in Borghese, and we definitely won't be returning.

We had such a wonderful dining experience at Taverna del Capitano. The pasta dishes were absolutely delicious We ordered -(Tagliatelle con Crema d'Aglio)a creamy pasta topped with pistachios was rich and unique, while the -(Pici all'Aglione )tomato based pasta had the perfect balance of taste and texture. The side of grilled vegetables was simple yet so tasty, highlighting the freshness of the ingredients. To end the meal, we enjoyed their homemade tiramisù, which was light, creamy, and simply one of the best we’ve had.

Let's start with the service: excellent, friendly, homely, and professional, always attentive to the customer's needs. They prepared what we ordered for our child that wasn't on the menu. The food was excellent, the lasagna delicious; I haven't had better roast rabbit outside my grandmother's house. The tiramisu and cheesecake were spectacular.

Despite the pouring rain, we really wanted to try this place, just steps from the cathedral. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The charcuterie board was delicious, especially the hand-cut prosciutto, which was very popular and flavorful. The pici all'aglione were truly well-made, with a delicate and delicious flavor. The pappardelle with hare were flavorful and just the right amount of greasy. The food was impeccably regional; I could have eaten anything. The owner, who walks among the tables and always has a ready joke, is an added bonus.

The pappardelle with hare are delicious, the place is very nice and is a stone's throw from the cathedral, winner of the Borghese 4 Ristoranti program, I must say it really deserves it! Good value for money
