Very friendly staff and good food

An excellent Sienese osteria. The poco all'aglione and the fettuccine with hare ragout are recommended. The tagliata with roasted potatoes is also excellent.

Located near the cathedral, this restaurant might seem like a touristy place to eat, like many in Siena, but once you sit down, you immediately realize that the story is much different than it appears. The menu is very traditional, just the right amount of variety, and the dishes are small, but all VERY inviting. I personally find the Cibreo extremely tasty, and with the ossobuco, I found a sauce that took me back to my grandmother's days. The pici all'aglione are also noteworthy, with generous toppings on all dishes, but not overdone. Perfect for those who enjoy eating "the way things used to be" without worrying too much. The house red wine is pleasant. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the owner is charismatic, witty, and knows how to give good advice to those who aren't sure; you can tell he loves his job. Recommended.

The pappardelle with hare are delicious, the place is very nice and is a stone's throw from the cathedral, winner of the Borghese 4 Ristoranti program, I must say it really deserves it! Good value for money

I'm taking one star off for the owner. Otherwise, the waiter was very professional and kind. The food was very good.

A typical tavern near the cathedral. I passed by in the morning and stopped to take a look, encouraged by the aroma, but I turned away for fear it was some kind of tourist trap. That evening, I went there for dinner, on the recommendation of a young man originally from Siena, and was satisfied with everything. The place is very charming, full of old photographs, very rustic but fairly well-kept. The owners and waiters are very kind, and the dishes are truly tasty.

Great place, lovely people and perfect food. A notch above the other local tourist places but not cheap.
