Spent 2 nights in June 2025. Charming hotel in a great waterfront location. Walking distance to the heart of Ortigia. Short ride to other Siracusa sights. Beautiful layout. Well maintained and clean. Rooms were comfortable and had excellent amenities. Restaurant was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

The hotel is incredibly well located. It is old and has a lot of charm. Reception is excellent. Very helpful. Recommendations for dinner were excellent. Breakfast is great. You can order a hot item from the kitchen and or enjoy the excellent buffet. There were some special treats at breakfast. Overall, all things considered, would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The + - location - cleanliness - general quality - calm Points to improve - reception (not very smiling except for Denise, adorable) - recovery time of the car by the valet (1 hour is a lot) - rooms a little small and old, exterior terrace not great - decent breakfast but nothing more

Spotlessly clean, very well maintained and large rooms. Its like a beautiful renovated castle. Service is excellent and very warm welcome! There is a concierge service and there's a vallet parking service which is very useful since the hotel is in the ZTL area. Breakfast is superb! You can even order a' la carte and its free of extra charge.

08/10/2025: Very nice, historic place located in the center in a historic building. It was a 250-year-old cellar. Excellent quality food, not exactly cheap, but quality is paid for. Excellent wines, very kind and qualified staff, I recommend it.

06/09/2025: Excellent experience, truly high-quality food, fresh fish, and carefully crafted dishes. The attentive service made all the difference; the helpful, friendly, yet professional staff made the evening even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it if you're visiting Portopalo di Capo Passero.
27/08/2025: This restaurant deserves a Michelin star: the ambiance, the service, the attention to detail, the food is ALL fresh and carefully prepared, perfectly cooked. The wine list is excellent, all Sicilian. Desserts? A delight for the palate. The young man who served us from start to finish was kind, attentive, and attentive. If I lived in Sicily, it would be a regular stop. I'll definitely be back!
