Alga Blu In Spotorno

I just had dinner with my husband at this delightful restaurant on the Spotorno seafront. The atmosphere is very welcoming and refined, the service is incredibly friendly and discreet, and the dishes are top-quality. We were tempted by the octopus salad with yellow datterini tomatoes, potatoes, and Taggiasca olives, followed by the classic trofie with potatoes and green beans; both flavors were perfectly balanced, perfectly cooked and creamy! Highly recommended.

Spectacular location! A terrace overlooking the sea and excellent food; it's a regular spot for both lunch and dinner! The staff is knowledgeable and attentive to all your needs. Fresh fish and carefully prepared dishes.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on the Spotorno seafront by chance. The service was fast and the staff were friendly, young, and smiling! The spaghetti with clams and bottarga was noteworthy! Recommended.

We had lunch on the terrace with a splendid sea view, on a sunny day that made the experience even more enjoyable. The service was quick and efficient, and the food was truly excellent. I chose a delicious grilled fish accompanied by grilled vegetables. Special thanks to Brichena and Lorenzo, who served us with great courtesy and professionalism. I highly recommend this place, both for the quality of the dishes and the relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

A few days ago, we had dinner at this restaurant with friends. The welcome was truly warm from the start. The owner, at the entrance, was very pleasant, welcoming us with a friendly, brief exchange. The dining room staff, all decidedly young, were very well-trained, courteous, professional, and warmly friendly and pleasant. They escorted us to our table, seating us in the front row on the terrace overlooking the sea with a fantastic view. The menu, which is decidedly refined, not forgetting traditional Ligurian specialties, offers seafood dishes with the freshest catch, which can also be enjoyed raw. The kitchen, helmed by the owner's daughter, obviously lived up to the expectations, serving us truly delicious dishes. I recommend this restaurant—obviously, make a reservation, as otherwise it's almost impossible to find a table—because it has many positive aspects that are worth discovering.

Beautiful location, lots of fish

While the atmosphere when eating out on the terrace is nice for a summer night, the food is definitely overpriced. You're going to be paying 3-4€ extra per dish in comparison to other restaurants in Spotorno for the same dish. The food itself was ok at best. Staff was great.

Ristorante carino, con terrazzo con vista sul mare. I piatti sono di ottima qualità, ma di poca quantità, soprattutto i piatti per i bambini. Comunque buona esperienza!
