I recommend booking. The restaurant is wonderful, we always go when we are in Rome. All the dishes we tried are delicious, but with special emphasis on the fettucine alfredo (the original, perfect, the best pasta we've ever eaten), the carpaccio, the eggplant parmigiana and the meat with potato mille feuille. From the moment we walked in, everything was great. The employees were friendly to everyone. The place reflected its history. Fettucini alfredo was beyond our expectations. Also thanks to Raffaelle who took care of us.

I came from Canada to visit this place... I wasn't very sure from the reviews but in the end it was a nice evening. Thanks also to Cristiano who was exceptional in recommending the wine and food. The fish was delicious, the only flaw was the bathroom. But the waiter told me that they will improve this too. I'll be back

The Fettuccine Alfredo with Truffles is spectacular It's really worth getting to know the place. We hadn't made a reservation and we were still well looked after. Definitely one of the best Fetuccinni in Rome

When I came to Rome in 2017, I ate a wonderful fettuccine at Alfredo. I made a reservation hoping to find the same this time, but unfortunately when I arrived at the venue, I realized that the alfredo I came with this time was not the same as before. We entered and were seated at a table in the corner overlooking the kitchen. Nobody cared that we had a reservation anyway. Fettuccine 22 eur . It could be an arrow. But it was very mediocre in terms of taste, not worth coming :( white wine was nice.

We went without a reservation on the evening of our first day in Rome. After waiting in line for 10-15 minutes, they showed us a table. The waiters were attentive. We wondered about the real Alfredo, but we learned that he died 11 years ago and now his sister runs it. Alfredo obviously made himself loved very much. You can understand from the photographs on the walls that he was a fatherly personality. We tried the famous Fettuchini and liked it. Lasagna was good too. If you're in the area, I recommend it. A nice clean place.

Se vieni a Roma é un ristorante da provare! Le loro fettuccine sono semplici ma nello stesso tempo speciali! Ricetta invariata dai primi del 900.

Mancavo dal 2019, ma ho trovato piatti salati. Le fettuccine erano buone ma erano salatissime!! L'insalata di carciofi era salatissima!! Peccato perche' si mangiava benissimo. Il cameriera era distratto.
