The place is very nice, and the food is excellent, with excellent service. The only flaw is that some dishes are too simple for a place like this; I always wish there were something special to justify the expense. The price is very high, not for everyone; you'll spend almost as much as a Michelin-starred restaurant. It's worth the experience, but going multiple times is for the rich.

We went for our anniversary dinner and everything was special. The wait staff were extremely attentive and knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and always smiling. The food was excellent, especially the Caccio e Pepe, which was truly delicious. And finally, a little treat: the dessert, decorated without request, for the occasion. It was very much appreciated. The atmosphere was very pleasant and informal, recommended, and definitely worth trying. We will definitely be back.

Sunday lunch at Borghese. Expectations were high, and after the experience, I can confidently say they were met. The restaurant is modern, with clean lines and adorned with contemporary art. The wine cellar is impressive, as is the open kitchen. Lunch began with a complimentary entrée consisting of a caponata-filled cream puff: definitely a great start. We then continued with two cacio e pepe pasta dishes, a pink tagliatella with beetroot, and mezzepaccheri pasta with grilled red mullet fillet. I personally found the cacio e pepe to be among the best I've had in Milan. This was followed by two roast racks of lamb, a grouper saltimbocca, and an appetizer served as a main course: creamed cod fillet. Great care was taken in the plating, which perfectly complements the exquisitely executed dishes. To finish, two tiramisu, a hazelnut shortcrust tartlet, and a milk chocolate mousse on buffalo stracciatella. Three coffees accompanied by their small pastries, in our case a banana bread with custard (the latter, for my personal taste, tasted a little too much like raw egg...but that's nitpicking, as they say). Five bottles of still water and a glass of red wine. For four of us, the bill came to €90 per person. A final word must go to the kindness of all the staff, and especially to the young man who looked after us throughout the meal.

An excellent lunch, from appetizer to dessert. I recommend the grilled octopus and grouper saltimbocca, both truly refined and perfectly paired. The shortcrust pastry and pear dessert with Gorgonzola ice cream is amazing. Kudos to the wait staff, who guide you and offer advice with professionalism and friendliness.

Dinner to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The atmosphere was refined yet familiar, and the service was excellent from all the staff, especially Mattia, who looked after us and explained every course to us, making it clear how much he loves his job. The food was excellent, refined yet uncomplicated. We'll definitely be back with friends.

The place was really spacious and well-kept, with the owner's face clearly visible. I have to say it wasn't a bad idea at all, because it wasn't tacky as it might seem. We were treated very well by the staff, and of course, we also ate very well. We didn't do any tastings, but we ordered à la carte. Everything was as expected, maybe even a little more. We had an appetizer, a main course, and dessert. Everything was truly delicious and cooked beautifully with definitely high-quality ingredients. The prices weren't particularly high, certainly expensive compared to average, but that was obvious; for what we ate, it was understandable. For those who have never tried something similar, I recommend it at least once in their life.

Once again, a magnificent experience. Impeccable yet easy-going service, dishes that look like paintings, marvelous to the eye and to the palate, friendliness, warmth, and professionalism are what accompany you throughout the entire dinner... Let's dispel a false myth: when we left the restaurant... we were absolutely not hungry ☺️... perfect portions in this restaurant run by a super chef!!!! The restaurant's name is spot on... the luxury and simplicity are captured in the quality of the cuisine, the musical accompaniment, and the freshness of the table service.

Tornerei volentieri e lo consiglierei senza esitazioni. Abbiamo trascorso una serata davvero piacevole, accolti con calore e serviti con grande professionalità. Anche sul piano culinario l’esperienza è stata eccellente: ogni piatto ci ha convinti e abbiamo apprezzato la cura e la qualità degli ingredienti. Una menzione speciale va al pane e alla focaccia, davvero strepitosi. L’unico appunto riguarda l’atmosfera della sala: la luce era molto bassa e, insieme ai tavoli scuri e spogli, tendeva a spegnere i colori vivaci delle portate, che meritavano invece di essere valorizzati. Le divise del personale di sala, simpatiche ma forse più adatte a una trattoria della riviera romagnola, stonano un po’ con l’ambiente. Detto questo, lo staff è stato estremamente discreto e cordiale, pronto a sorridere e scherzare con naturalezza quando il contesto lo permetteva.

La location è curata con grande attenzione ai dettagli, elegante e accogliente. Il personale di sala è straordinariamente cortese e disponibile. La qualità dei piatti è semplicemente eccellente: la degustazione da 10, non solo per il numero di portate, ma anche come voto complessivo, è un vero viaggio nel gusto. Ogni assaggio è un’esperienza sensoriale che conquista il palato. Il prezzo è sicuramente “elevato”, ma assolutamente giustificato da ciò che si vive e si gusta. Un posto che merita di essere provato almeno una volta: consigliatissimo!
