We were here over Women's Day weekend. I was a bit surprised by the ground-floor reception, and then the second upstairs. We enjoyed the DJ during dinner.
I found the place exactly as I expected. Decorated in keeping with the Borghese style, which we love, we had three courses and dessert, everything was delicious, and no one left hungry. I'll be back.
PS: I also tried the one in Venice, and I felt the service was more involved in describing the dishes and, if necessary, suggesting which "culinary" direction to take between the seven-course or à la carte menu. We like it that way.

Today I went to Borghese's restaurant in Milan with my wife. I have to say I didn't really like the entrance; it felt more like a two-star hotel. Once inside, the very friendly staff showed us to our table. The dining room wasn't exceptional, but it was nice. The food was excellent, of course, beautifully presented and described in detail by the always friendly and helpful waiters. A special mention goes to Vittoria, who was also professional in recommending the wine to choose. I can't say how much it cost, since we were there with a voucher our children gave us. Even though Alessandro Borghese wasn't there, it was a great experience. We plan on returning, even though we're not close by.

Soulless Beauty
We visited this restaurant last night, intrigued by the ambiance and the food. The initial impression was undoubtedly positive: the space is modern, elegant, and welcoming, with an open kitchen that exudes dynamism and transparency. A highly aesthetically pleasing place, meticulously crafted and a pleasure to be in.
We chose the €130 tasting menu, a technically well-executed experience, with carefully crafted and carefully constructed dishes. The cuisine is good, undeniably solid, almost academic in its rigor and approach. However, what was missing was that emotional drive capable of surprising and leaving a vivid memory. Everything was correct, everything well-crafted, but lacking in vibrancy. No spark, no truly memorable notes.
The service, entrusted to young wait staff, was attentive, friendly, and professional. They demonstrated commitment and preparation, but lacked that attitude that makes you feel like a special guest, welcomed and involved in an experience that was more personal than formal.
The only slightly off note was the welcome: the manager (or so-called manager) seemed a bit stiff and cold, more focused on his role than on the relationship. A detail that, in a context of this caliber, weighs more than one might think.
In short, a beautiful restaurant, well-constructed and with solid foundations, but which today seemed to lack the soul capable of transforming a good dinner into a truly emotional experience.
And in the end, the question every customer asks when leaving a restaurant is always the same: would I return?
The answer, honestly, is more no than yes. Not because of obvious shortcomings or serious errors, but because it lacks that spark that makes you want to return, that feeling of having experienced something you want to relive or tell others about. Everything was correct, pleasant, well executed. But in a price range and ambition like this, correctness isn't enough: you need emotion. And without emotion, the desire to return is difficult to generate...

I went there with my partner on Saturday, February 21, 2026. It was our second time (in two years), and I must confirm the atmosphere, quality, and professionalism of the staff, which were very high. It's a truly wonderful place. We'll definitely be back. Congratulations!

A great restaurant with great service, a great menu, and a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, we didn't see Alessandro, but his staff took great care of us in their manners, timing, and palate. It was a wonderful experience, and we even joked about the specials on our notebook. Everything was distinct in flavor and attention to detail, but the cacio e pepe was velvety. The only flaw was the delicate portion, but we'll be back. Thank you for the overall experience.
