Aldo's at Cordella Winery In Montalcino

We stayed here for three days and everything was great. The room was beautiful, the food was delicious in the restaurant upon arrival, and the staff and owner were exceptionally friendly. Highly recommended!

Weird. So weird in fact someone should call Gordon Ramsey! Place has got some serious potential. Safe and quiet though so it was fine for 1 night.

We had a wonderful time at this agriturismo, a truly beautiful and welcoming place surrounded by nature. Special thanks to Aldo for the dinner: everything was delicious, cooked by him with homemade ingredients and lots of passion. An authentic and genuine experience that won us over. We'll definitely be back!

It's not easy to review this place. We spent two nights here last April for a trail race in the area. First, I'll start by saying that managing such a beautiful property, so full of positive aspects, in this manner is truly a shame and even a bit disgraceful. I already knew on the phone that their hospitality and organization weren't strong points. The owner was absolutely rude and annoyed with every question or request. I wonder why she chose this job. We sent our four documents for check-in, and when we arrived, they hadn't even prepared two rooms, but only one, when the reservation was clearly for four people. The apartment was definitely beautiful, comfortable, and spacious... but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired, unfortunately. For the first evening, we had arranged to dine there. We were sent a menu, informed that one person was vegan, and confirmed that we would opt for à la carte. Upon arrival, the gentleman in the kitchen had already prepared a menu of his choice, forgetting about the vegan person and everything else. We were quite shocked by all this, and he only made up for it with a very low bill. Given the situation, we appreciated the gesture and, of course, decided to go out the following evening. The place essentially has a lot of potential. The farmhouse is gorgeous, in a quiet area. It just needs to be managed by capable and kind staff, and everything would be perfect! The April price for the two nights was absolutely excellent, I must emphasize that.

Beautiful location. Only downside is the pool, which wasn't working. The owner is very nice and the wine tasting dinner was a great experience. The only thing missing was a fridge in the rooms.

I had a winetasting and cellar tour and they were exceptional. Aldo is a great host that knows his wines and explains about the making of the wine very understandably. Beautiful garden and views too. I would recommend the tasting and cellar tour!
