A surprising experience, given such negative criticism, we had doubts about sitting in this restaurant, but on December 31st at midday it was really difficult to find a place to eat, so we decided to try. The Maitre d' was not too friendly, but the rest of the staff were very kind. The tables, I must say, are very small and narrow but the cuisine is excellent and the wine list is complete and interesting. I would also like to give a positive note to the choice of supplies such as plates and the quality of cutlery and wine glasses, good wine and good food can only be enjoyed on a crystal cup and with cutlery of the right weight. 4 people: 2 starters, 2 side dishes taken for starters, 4 first courses, 4 desserts, a bottle of wine costing 50 euros aprox bread (excellent) and sparkling water, total per person 60 euros with tip. It seemed correct for the quality served (the zabaglione dessert could be improved)

Surprise evening. Random choice of restaurant, welcoming and characteristic. Good dishes, especially the amarone risotto and excellent wine. But the difference was the friendliness and professionalism of the manager, a person who knows how to welcome and entertain the customer, between one course and another we felt pampered, thank you maitre Nedo.

Excellent venue in the most beautiful area of ​​Verona, excellent wine list, the courteous and knowledgeable Director was able to advise and give excellent information on the various types of wines.

Bella atmosfera autentica, ristorante gestito molto bene, qualità dei cibi ottima. Cantina davvero superiore, con alcuni vini anche costosi e pregiati. Da ripetere.

We ate very well, perfect service, refined food. I give 4 stars only because perhaps a little overpriced given that it is located in front of the stone bridge, but recommended if you have the chance. The place is very small, we were lucky but perhaps it is better to book. Highly recommended for wine lovers!

The boiled meat with pearà is excellent

Perfect service, food and wine! We ordered Griled 1.3kg beef to share and Amarone wine 2017. Panna cotta(the best!), Tiramisu, Lemon pie. Everyone was very pleased.

Returned after a few years, unfortunately no longer the service and quality of the past. When we entered, no one greeted us for about thirty seconds (they were all looking at their smartphones). Risotto with acidic and hard Amarone. Almost non-existent vegetarian options. ONE HUNDRED AND SEVEN EUROS for two starters, two first courses and a glass of wine. What a shame to see a historic restaurant turn into a rich tourist trap.

Siamo giunti in questo locale per caso. Non ho guardato le recensioni come mio solito fare ed ho sbagliato! Non discuto la qualità del cibo che era tutto squisito complimenti allo chef e alla cameriera molto gentile gradevole e simpatica.. salva il locale dalla scortesia del titolare 😐 inqualificabile!
