I had the homemade ravioli with liver filling and fried onions. While they were very tasty, the portion was unfortunately too small for the price of €15.
The tiramisu was fantastic.

Not first time!!! The food experience is great, the owner is a real guru in wine, all the wine which he suggested was great!!!! When I visit Verona will visit this place!!! Real gastronomy experience

I’ve honestly never written a review of a place before but this restaurant has been the best experience on my trip in Italy. I had the Bigoli with Donkey Ragu which was excellent, along with the brunello di montalcino wine. However, the service was the best part with the owner, Massimo, being so welcoming, especially to my friends who are wine aficionados. He recommended us a fantastic glass of grapa after our dessert. Definitely stop by if you are in Verona!

It seems touristy, but it's not! A very friendly host; trust him for gastronomic advice and more. Typical Veronese dishes are certainly delicious and, even for a layman, authentic. Homemade bread, horse tartare, bigoli, and tagliata with pearà sauce are fantastic. The best place a "tourist"—and not just a tourist—could ever find himself! Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return. P.S.: Don't ask for the Amarone grappa (Ragose, a local company), he'll leave the bottle for you! Very delicate.

Don't believe the reviews. This place has the best tiramisu I've ever tasted. That's why Massimo calls it super tiramisu. It's devine. We had the horse meat tagliatta and it was delicious apart from a couple of pieces. The veronese chicken was also great. Dont expect tourist menus here, this is real Veronese food. The location is great and the service just right. We'll worth my 5!!

Strolling through the alleys, we came across this restaurant. I have to say, it's fantastic!
Very good food, and the owner's welcome was AMAZING! Truly super friendly and approachable. I couldn't recommend it more highly.
Horse tartare, bigoli with Amarone-braised donkey ragù, and warm sliced beef with pearà sauce—all TOP!
We'll definitely be back!

Ottima “osteria/trattoria” in una delle zone storiche del centro di Verona a due passi dallo stupendo ponte Pietra… Massimo ci accoglie subito con una “battuta”, servizio a mio modo di vedere buono, acqua in abbondanza e pane casareccio a “tutta” (alcuni si lamentano del coperto, per costo eccessivo, ma ci può stare visto il servizio); il resto assaggiato a noi è piaciuto molto, i primi di ottima qualità e pure i dolci non da meno… prezzo leggermente sopra la media ma siamo rimasti comunque soddisfatti, location top! … mangiato alla grande pagato alla grande 😋🙌🏻😉

Gran restaurante recomendado por nuestra guía de vinos Valpolicella. Encantador entorno, excelente carta de vinos y excelente cocina local. Vine para una comida especial de aniversario y me encantó!
