I've been organizing sports retreats for kids at this facility for 15 years, and I can't complain about anything: food, cleanliness, and availability. Furthermore, I sometimes find myself with completely different clientele, like seniors on vacation or Vasco Rossi fans, and there's never been a problem. Problems can arise if there's a lack of manners, as sometimes happens with kids who belong to sports groups, whose parents then write nonsense and inaccurate things.

The hotel is dated but very clean. The owner is always very kind and helpful. I asked for two favors, both of which were granted without a problem. The bathroom is small but spotlessly clean, the bowl is practically a bathroom, but with a little forethought, everything can be done without a problem. The price and quality are unbeatable. Initially, seeing the negative reviews, I was very skeptical about my reservation, but I have to say I'll be back next year. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. Besides the excellent dessert buffet, I'd add something savory.

Family-run hotel, clean, tidy, generous breakfast with a nice selection of cakes (the apple and carrot ones are amazing!), friendly staff, owner Andrea is a kind and very helpful person. The property is dated, okay, but well-kept, with cleaning staff constantly busy throughout the day. Our room was quite spacious, clean, tidy, with a TV and minibar....a beautiful view from the balcony....quiet at night....I definitely think we'll be back next year, especially considering the "strategic" location in the center of Zocca, and the very close parking. So, reading so many reviews, I'm wondering: given the rates...what do you expect? For me, what matters is cleanliness, order, kindness, and comfortable beds...which I promptly found!!!!! The bathroom is small, but very clean (we didn't get the room floor wet at all while showering!!!); towels are always clean and soft. So: excellent value!!! See you next year!!!!!

I really don't know where some of the people writing reviews stayed - this is not the experience we had April 25. We stayed here for a week and had room 113. Yes the lift is small, ALL European lifts are small, take the stairs - it is only a 4 storey hotel. The staff were all lovely, everyone of them. The desk clerks in particular were very helpful and even opened the bar for us one night upon our late return from eating out. The rooms were large with traditional furniture, the bed was comfortable and king sized, we slept well every night. The TV in this room is a 28" flat screen and had only a few English speaking channels - who goes to Italy and watched TV in the bedroom? Palermo is a vibrant city that comes alive after dark. Eating out before 9 pm is almost a criminal offence. The bathroom although small was perfectly usable and as a 5" 11" 220 lb man I had no problems with either the shower or the WC. The shower was excellent, roasting hot and superb water pressure. The room was cleaned every day, bed made and fresh towels provided. We only had breakfast once in the hotel dining room. It is a continental affair with meats, cheeses and pastries, what's to complain about? As for the noise? The hotel is adjacent to a piazza with very little traffic. That said - it is Palermo, cities by their very nature are busy with more noise than your average village. Police and Ambulance sirens can be heard but not bad enough our sleep was disturbed. There are many, many very good restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Tondo across the road was pretty good and offers a 20% discount if you book online using the FORK app found on app stores. La Brace was the best we found, superb menu, very reasonable and excellent service.

My children stayed with their team friends during a basketball tournament. We had the opportunity to view the rooms and we saw a truly basic and above all a little dated environment. We don't know how the service was or what the management is so I don't want to comment on it, certainly seen from the outside. The structure is not elegantly kept.
