Very good entrance and first courses, good selection of wines, very welcoming staff, quiet, warm restaurant. If you are looking for a typical Lombard restaurant in the area, this is the one for you.

I recommend this restaurant for the goodness and abundance of the dishes, the kindness of the staff, and finally the value for money!

Pleasant hotel but relatively noisy, it will be difficult for you to rest. The staff is friendly but relatively overwhelmed despite the low attendance during our presence. The restaurant is nice with a fairly varied menu. The real disappointment was the breakfast...it's not really a buffet since there is almost nothing (water, rusks, cereals, spreads), you have to ask for everything and that takes time. a lot of time (1 hour before being served on the 3rd morning) the management of the breakfast service clearly needs to be reviewed. Too bad because otherwise this hotel is very clean and charming.

We made a lunch stop while we drove to Como. A very friendly young man showed us a menu (written on a piece of paper) and explained that a 3-course menu was included in €12. Since it sounded to good to be true we asked him to double check it, but he confirmed afterwards. We did not want to have a 3-course and ordered only a pasta tuna. The young man assured us that we can take one more meal without additional charge and we did that. The food was basic, Italian pasta and imitation of German schnitzel, but it was worth the given price. Upon the payment the owner of the hotel presented a check more than the double of the price. After explaining situation above, the owner became overly dramatic claiming that the young man just started at his new job and that we will not be charged for his mistake, but still claimed we did not want to pay the full price (that was very strange). Since we absolutely wanted to pay for the received service, we proposed to pay a bit more than the “original” price and the owner did not accept that. After a long discussion we left an amount much above the price we thought we would pay for (but lower than the owner wanted to charge) at the desk and walked away. This was a very unpleasant experience, but still 3 stars since the food was acceptable and the young man provided a good service.

If you want to rest, forget it, the church rings night and day every 30 minutes. Breakfast is like the lottery, one morning it's ok and the next day you have rusks and butter.

Classic 2-star hotel in a small town like Valbrona (Como). For a couple's weekend it's more than fine.

Staff and service were excellent. Adelina and Lorenzo were very helpful and welcoming. Food was fresh and delicious xxxx

We stopped one night on the way back by motorbike from Switzerland on 06-28-2024. We arrived very late and the kitchen was closed, the owner invited us to get a takeaway pizza near 10 meters from the hotel and let us eat it in his restaurant. Thank you. the rooms are large and nothing is missing. parking is private there in the hotel. The owner is very friendly, competent and puts you at ease. Very honest prices.

I went there yesterday for lunch for the first time and I must say that I had a good time, appetizer platter (beautiful among other things), cold cuts and cheeses, various risottos, some with perch, some with blueberries, grilled fish, sweet slices and so on. It doesn't matter 🤭😁 in short we had a good time, the staff were well-trained and friendly. If I really have to make a negative note it is that there is no key in the bathroom and there was no hand soap but this may be an oversight. I advise

Siamo stato a cena per caso … mandato da un amico … ragazzi un posto strepitoso ! Abbiamo mangiato un risotto funghi porcini e mirtilli da favola ! Complimenti per la cordialità e la professionalità dello staff ! Ci prenoteremo di sicuro per la serata pesce … abbiamo visto il menù e i piatti .. senza parole ! Ottima qualità prezzo !
