A starred experience, but with some minor flaws. Nothing to complain about the location overlooking Lake Santa Croce, nor about the quality and preparation of the dishes. A few flaws regarding the service and the table location. Overall, a good experience, but below my expectations.

The welcome was warm, professional, and friendly. The food was excellent, as was the breakfast the next morning, for those who wanted to stay in the rooms adjacent to the restaurant.

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending an evening at this splendid restaurant, where everything seems magical. Chef Riccardo offered us an excellent culinary journey, well supported by his two young collaborators Matteo and Matteo.

One of the most iconic Italian restaurants, since 1921, they got the first matching star in Italy 50 years ago...enough said, third generation now, everything is fantastic, seasonal, lots of games, also the rooms are well done, it's a must when in the region.

10/12/2025: I used the spa as an external client with a group of friends. The spa is private, beautiful, clean, and very reasonably priced for small groups. A nice surprise, especially in an expensive place like Cortina.
31/10/2025: Our stay was excellent. The staff were welcoming, the room was beautifully decorated, fully equipped, and there was a large terrace. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of delicious local products. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

14/08/2025: We stayed for 5 days, two adults and two children, and had a wonderful time. The hospitality, good food, and stunning scenery were wonderful! If we can, we'll definitely return to visit Sara and Igor and their wonderful children!
