Albatros In Catanzaro

I had lunch at New Albatros for a birthday. I enjoyed a delicious mixed grill of very fresh fish, perfectly boned and well cooked, and an equally good mixed salad. The portions are also generous, thus leaving the palate satisfied. The only thing some might not like is that the salad comes already dressed. Maybe you could ask the customer first how they prefer it. The staff is courteous and discreet, the menu is varied, all based on fresh fish, the restaurant is modern and clean.

The menu offers very fresh dishes and refined preparations, I absolutely recommend you try: the cuttlefish ink risotto with raw prawns and the cheese and pepper cream. A creamy and tasty dish. Don't miss out on a great classic, the mussel pepper, a taste experience that truly captures the palate. The service is attentive and the atmosphere welcoming, ideal for a special evening or a quality lunch. A restaurant that knows how to bring out the best of the sea!

We just happened to have wandered by this restaurant. They were open for lunch so we gave them a try. First they were amazingly gracious and patient with our very limited Italian. Expansive menu. We enjoyed an awesome three hours on the terrazzo. The food was so fresh, delicious and abundant. The view was out of a travel magazine. The service was attentive and professional. Truly one of the most magnificent meals/afternoons we had in Italy. Highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and was absolutely impressed by the quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere. I tasted both the fish and the pizza, and I can confidently say that everything was incredibly fresh and top quality. The fish was cooked to perfection: authentic flavors and very fresh ingredients, which melted in your mouth. The pizza, equally extraordinary, had a light and crunchy base, with generous, quality ingredients, which really make the difference. Every bite was an explosion of flavor! The service is impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who immediately make you feel at home. If you are looking for a place to enjoy excellent fish dishes or a perfect pizza, New Albatros is a must try. I can't wait to return to savor the delights of this restaurant again. Highly recommended!

First of all, the courtesy of all the staff, 4 of us ate plus my dog, Jack, a medium-sized cocker. A bowl of water was brought to him immediately. We had the chef's starter, very good. As first courses: risotto with pumpkin and bacon cream, tuna and pistachio cream gnocchi, scialatielli with seafood. The cooking of both the pasta and the rice was perfect, al dente. As a second mixed grill... excellent fish. Two glasses of local wine, very delicate, perfect to accompany the fish. Two bottles of water. Bill total 126, great price.
