Alba In Napoli

I'm from Vomero by birth and have been a regular at Pizzeria Alba since I was a kid, frequenting it with my parents. The quality of the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere remain consistently high! I've eaten everything from the excellent, light and easily digestible pizza to the flavorful fried foods, the exquisite first and second courses, not to mention the variety and flavor of the desserts. In my opinion, it's an excellent pizzeria and a remarkable restaurant, a rare gem in Vomero. But I wonder, why are the most negative and misleading reviews coming from travel guides? Perhaps they would have preferred not to pay? Before demolishing a culinary masterpiece, you need to be honest, but then again, among us loyal customers, word of mouth is enough; in fact, the place is always packed and the fake reviews slide right off our backs!!! IN ADDITION TO THE QUALITY OF THE FRESH FOOD COOKED WITH PASSION AND EXPERIENCE BY TWO CHEFS EVERY DAY A WIDE CHOICE OF FIRST COURSES THEY SATISFY EVERY REQUEST WITH GRACE AND KINDNESS. MY VOTE FOR PIZZA IS ALWAYS THE TOP PIZZAIOLI FOR GENERATIONS A PLACE THAT HAS BEEN A REFERENCE AS A PIZZERIA FOR MORE THAN 50 YEARS ALWAYS THE SAME QUALITY OF DOUGH AND INGREDIENTS ON THE COUNTER THE OWNER IS YOUNG AND VERY PROFESSIONAL YOU JUST HAVE TO OBSERVE HIM FOR 5 MINUTES TO UNDERSTAND THAT HE IS NOT INTERESTED IN QUANTITY BUT IN QUALITY IN EVERYTHING THAT CONCERNS THE GRANDE PIZZA RESTAURANT I AM EMBARRASSED WITH HAVING TO CHOOSE ONE AMONG THE MANY PIZZAS BUT FOR COMPARED TO THE QUEEN OF PIZZAS, THE MARGHERITA HAS NO RIVALS. IF I HAD TO FIND A SMALL FLAW, THE BAKER IS THE ONE WHO PUTS THE PIZZAS IN THE BAKERY, A GOOD WORKER, NOT EXCELLENT, BUT HE IS YOUNG AND CERTAINLY UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF THE TOP PIZZA CHEFS, THE OLDER DON ANTONIO AND GIGI THE OWNER CAN ONLY IMPROVE... EXCELLENT SERVICE, ALWAYS READY AND AVAILABLE, NICE AND AVAILABLE TO SATISFY THE CUSTOMERS' REQUESTS, A NEW, CLEAN AND TASTY PLACE. THE LADY AT THE CHECKOUT IS SOCIABLE AND POLITE BUT YOU CAN SEE THAT SHE KNOWS HER BUSINESS... IN SHORT, SHE COULD APPEAR UNFRIENDLY IN 2 CASES, THE FIRST IF A WOMAN WANTS TO COMPETE WHY THE LADY AT THE CHECKOUT AND CUTE ENTERPRISE KNOWS HIS JOB AND PROTECTS HIS BUSINESS ALWAYS BEAUTIFUL AND PREPARED BUT OUT OF PLACE THE 2 REASON IS VERY POLITE AND WE KNOW WHO IS POLITE AND RESPECTFUL TODAY SHE COMES AWAY FROM ANNOYING AND PRESUMPTUOUS ... IN SHORT IN THE VOMERO HILLY DISTRICT OF NAPLES my sincere opinion IF YOU WANT TO SPEND AN EVENING IN PEACE AND HARMONY AND EATING WELL AND SPENDING THE RIGHT MONEY ... YOU MUST GO TO ALBA RESTAURANT AND PIZZERIA ... I APOLOGIZE FOR THE LONG REVIEW BUT QUALITY SHOULD BE REWARDED AND EXPLAINED IN DETAIL ..at least for what is my OPINION AND EXPERIENCE ...

Nice atmosphere Great pizza and good service

My flight was delayed so the restaurants open late were limited-I’m so glad I stumbled upon this one! Iman was an excellent waiter & made great recommendations for food & my time in Naples. A pizza margherita is a MUST & whatever the house specialty of the dessert they have (this cake was insane!).

Takeout, honestly? One of the best pizzas, if not the best of my life. Maybe it was because I was alone, or some other variable, but perfectly cooked pizza, tasty tomato, exceptional mozzarella. Technically a 10.

Consigliato da amici per la freschezza del pesce. Ristorante di impianto tradizionale, location senza lode e senza infamia. Servizio cortese senza slanci. Cibo normalmente andante, senza pecche ma anche senza slanci. Prezzi correnti, ma altini tutto sommato.

Servizio eccellente, cibo fantastico, atmosfera in perfetto stile partenopeo dove la gentilezza e la familiarità sono alla base di tutto. Per il giovedì santo abbiamo scelto di venire da Gigi. Che, a mio avviso, propone la migliore zuppa di cozze di Napoli. E non solo la zuppa di cozze… Fidatevi e lasciatevi sedurre dai gusti di una Napoli che non c’è più…

We have been in Napoli and Sorrento for a week and Alba has been one of the best experiences. Food 10/10, Service 10/10 Grazie miele. Forza Napoli 🥳
