Clean, welcoming, exceptional dishes

Excellent little restaurant hidden in between alleyways, boasting a curated menu that changes from week to week. I went with calamari stew (€14) for an appetizer and busiata gambero rosso (€18) for my main, and was not able to fit a dessert. Portions are solid, but not overwhelming. The calamari stew was especially delicious - the calamari were springy yet neatly doused in the rich sauce, with crunchy toasted bread providing a wonderful texture. The busiata were very good, however slightly paled in comparison to the starter. This is not due to the sauce or the exceptional pasta, but rather the calamari felt a lot more robust than the prawns. That said, both dishes were very good. The wine selection provided by the attentive and gentle staff was lovely - I went with a glass of white wine (€6), which managed the rate feat of tasting a whole lot better than it smelled - and it didn't smell bad at all! Overall, while this is hardly the most economic eatery in Trapani, it must rank among the better ones. The peaceful ambiance, kind staff and good to great food (including fantastic bread) leaves little to be desired. Recommended.

Everything was perfect, excellent service, spectacular food, and a family atmosphere. Special mention to Giovanni! No need to say anything else, it's absolutely worth trying!!

Perfect little Sicilian trattoria! Most importantly the food is fresh and freshly prepared- something we didn’t always find in Trapani. The swordfish was cooked perfectly and the gnocchi were homemade and freshly cooked- the light, delicate texture you can only get when it is just freshly made vs the hard lumps we got at another Trapani restaurant. Sitting outside in the little alley with locals was the first time I actually felt like I was in the real Sicily. They change the menu 3x a week to take advantage of local catches and seasonal ingredients.

The food was delicious, and the wine recommendation was perfect. The staff was very welcoming, and the chef's little son created such wonderful memories. What a special son! Grow up healthy! ^^

The service is really great, I came because I had seen in the reviews that they used local fish depending on the arrivals and that the menu changed several times a week, and this was confirmed to me once I was there, I am really not disappointed. In addition, the staff is super pleasant and friendly, I really loved it. However, it fills up quickly, it is better to book, they had to turn away several people because there was no more room. And obviously, the fish was delicious.

Very small restaurant in an inconspicuous backyard. Very tasty, local food. Friendly service. Typical Sicilian.

Un lugar agradable y acogedor. Casi todo en el menú (pequeño) contiene pescado, pero, bueno, estás en Trapani, no en Kansas City. Las pastas primi piatti son geniales, pero muy llenas; las parejas deben considerar compartir una. O incluso compartir un segundo — la porción de spada era enorme, pero muy delicioso. En toda Sicilia, y aquí, las porciones son grandes, y es bueno para parejas y familias compartir cosas, para que puedas sentir mejor lo bueno que puede ser un lugar como este.

Io mia moglie e 2 bambino uno di 8 mesi e L altro di quasi tra anni siamo stati accolti con una cortesia ormai rara e questo oltre all ottimo cibo credo che sia il valore aggiunto. Pietanze ottime materia prima eccezionale. Abbiamo preso gamberi crudi,pepata di cozze e tentacoli di polpo come antipasto. Un primo spaghetto aglio olio e peperoncino e un secondo baccalà con mayonese al curry e cipolla agrodolce. Aperitivo con gin tonic e aperol spritz. Il bimbo uno spaghetto al ragù e un dolce.
