In the heart of Turin, there is this small and welcoming bar. Perfect for an aperitif and lunch break; in this historic restaurant you eat well and spend little, especially considering the location in one of the main streets of the city and the quality. Credit goes to the cook, cheerful and generous: her portions are generous and each course has a home-made flavour.

Dà l'idea di essere un bar storico, fanno il famoso Bicerin, il tutto è un po' confusionario e i prezzi mi sono sembrati un pochino altini però tutto sommato fa la sua bella figura.

Apericena with a varied buffet, good quality, everything fresh, constantly being replenished. Nice service.

Prachtige plek met uitzicht op een groot plein midden in centrum Turijn. Binnen wordt je verrast door de enorme hoeveelheid lekkere dingen, zowel koekjes als bonbons en broodjes. Een drukte van belang, allerlei Italianen die snel aan de counter een koffie drinken en meteen verder gaan. Twee broodjes en twee koffie aan de counter besteld en ik moest 9,60 afrekenen. Daarmee op het terras gaan zitten en toen we het ophadden, bij de ober buiten nog 2 dezelfde koffie besteld. Die kosten opeens 7 euro voor 2. Tja, dat is het verschil tussen aan de bar en op het terras: 1,50 vs. 3,50 voor een koffietje...

Very touristy, admittedly. But after all, you are a tourist yourself, so I can't understand the complaints (of other tourists) about it. All in all, a visit there is definitely worth it - we were lucky, it was very empty and relaxed.

At the suggestion of a friend, we went in to try the famous Bicerin. Very good. The mix of flavors is wonderful.

It has been my point of reference for a coffee with friends for at least a year. Good coffee, nice and friendly staff, nice and central area
