Food and service qualities are very high, people with humor sens, warm ambiance, I’ll come next time.

Excellent Italian food and especially Venetian dishes made to perfection: creamed cod: divine, sardines in saor: fresh, liver: delicate, fresh fish, "32" beer: to know, impeccable and kindly friendly service. So, the best in Venice, at reasonable prices. We went back twice in three days. Try it!!

Had lunch here today with my 2 kids. Their scallops were very fresh and the gnocchi is out of this world. Portion is proper, only the calzone was quite big for my teenager. The men were very kind. They could have much more customers if they done more marketing but it is an authentic local restaurant which is not easy to find in this tourist area. Highly recommend. P.S: the lemon sobert was yummy!

My family and I went to the restaurant for dinner. Despite not having a reservation, they seated us in the upstairs dining room near a window (a very nice table, which is appreciated). The waiter is simply spectacular, a person who enjoys working, always with a smile, very friendly and attentive. It's a pleasure to meet people like that (he was a guy with dark glasses). I have no complaints about the food, which is delicious, but what I do think is a rip-off is that they charge us for the cover once we're already seated. A total of €9, or €3 per person, is illogical. I work in a restaurant, and we don't do that, no matter how touristy it is. In short, a good restaurant and good service, but they take advantage of tourists and don't tell them the price of the cover.

After a long day of touring the beautiful surrounding islands we came across Al Vecio Canton the music and the cool vibe drew is in. We asked for AC and the waiter took us upstairs. With the low ceilings and the cool decor, we knew we were in someplace special. My wife and I weren't super hungry so we shared the calzone. The light crust was domed high and was at least 14 inches across. Once we tasted it we became very hungry and demolished it. Paired with inexpensive wine and an Apriol Spritz. We were satisfied and out the door for just 30 euro. You won't go wrong with this restaurant.

I went for dinner and was greeted by friendly staff in a homely atmosphere! The squid ink pasta in particular was delicious, with a strong umami flavor! It seems to be popular with Japanese people, as there were about four tables full of Japanese people at the time...I wanted to experience the local atmosphere, so it was a bit of a letdown that there were only Japanese people there, but I think it's the perfect restaurant for those who don't mind and want to feel at ease.
