Excellent trattoria At lunch, a fixed menu at a low price At dinner, much more choice and a price that's reasonable for what you get

My first time at this restaurant. Excellent dinner with local and authentic dishes. Memories of dishes we hadn't tasted in years, today, revisited with the same goodness and tradition. We split each dish in half to enjoy more, finishing each dish with a healthy mop of bread. The house wine by the glass was also good. The standout dish was definitely the Piedmontese snails (delicious), the fresh tartare, seasoned just right—it was a shame to eat the last bite, I would have gladly had more. The fried frogs, a treat I hadn't had in decades. They were delicious, the only small flaw being a bit too much bread in the breading, but they were still tasty and fun to eat. To finish the meal, we had a warm tomino cheese with honey and chestnuts. A great compromise for dessert, which we passed on due to lack of room. The place is very modern, cute, and clean (service included), which is not a given in a trattoria. In short, we can only say thank you to everyone and, for sure, we'll see you soon. Keep it up, you're the best 🤗🥂 The entire staff was so welcoming, we had a great time and felt at ease... it was like we were regulars. It's definitely become our favorite place for future dinners. A simple, slightly dated restaurant where you can feel at home.

It's always a pleasure to return to the old rio. The welcoming atmosphere makes you immediately feel welcomed among friends. The menu changes frequently, with real meat, fish, and vegan delights.

Simple and delicious. Andrea serves the tables kindly. Everything is delicious. There's also an outdoor dining area.

A wonderful, authentic Italian restaurant that seems to be frequented only by regulars. Great dishes, delicious house wine, very friendly and attentive service, and reasonable prices. All the German restaurateurs currently complaining should really do an internship.

We highly recommend it! Delicious food and excellent service! If we visit Alessandria again, we'll gladly return.

The food is simple but good, the flavors are old-fashioned, the price is right... The problem is that if you don't hurry up and eat, they'll kick you out at 10:30 PM... But really, they'll kick you out!!! They'll even take the bottle of wine off your table if you haven't finished!!!

Ottima cucina, piatti gustosi e di qualita'. Personale professionale e accogliente. Ottima l'ospitalita'. Adatto per ogni occasione e comodo da raggiungere. Assolutamente consigliato a tutti!

Una trattoria vecchio stile!! Piatti abbondanti e semplici ma molto gustosi. Tagliata buonissima e morbidissima …abbiamo dovuto fare il bis 😉. Ottimo anche l’arrosto con le patate. Cemeriere 🔝 simpaticissimo !!!
