Excellent experience. The location is really nice, spread over two floors and also has an outdoor area. We sat inside, and the temperature was still very pleasant. The dishes we tried were the best seafood we had during our holiday in Alghero. The prices were similar to those of other restaurants, which in my opinion offered much lower quality. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

We booked dinner at Al Tuguri, many years after our first visit. The new management lives up to the previous management's reputation. The dishes are delicious (the poached shrimp and roasted octopus with Srirache sauce are unforgettable for their delicacy and deliciousness). The service is attentive, kind, and professional. Highly recommended.

If you can only try one restaurant in Alghero, choose this one. Everything was exceptional! The staff is beyond professional and kind, the ambiance is prefect (try to ask for a table on the terrace on the rooftop) and the food…. No words. I had the poached shrimps and the seafood pasta and oh boy they were soooooo good!

The best restaurant in Alghero and the best Sardinian discovery in five years!
The dishes are beautifully presented and absolutely excellent. Let the waiter guide you in your wine selection. He will introduce you to the sumptuous Malvasia di Bosa and Carignano del Sulcis! The atmosphere is warm and the service impeccable. We ate at Al Tuguri three times in one week, once for lunch and twice in the evening, including once to try the Catalan-style lobster. A delight!
We fell in love with the small rooftop terrace with its view of the beautiful colorful dome of the Church of San Michele.
The value for money is excellent!

Accomplished cooking here using the freshest ingredients which we all know that that makes the difference between eating at a mediocre establishment or a quality establishment, thankfully this restaurant fits into the latter.
My only qualm and I let it go on this occasion as I'm on holiday was my wine glass was a little smeary/not cleaned properly and the red wine by the glass which was superb I thought the amount offered was minuscule hence 4 stars for service.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante sotto stretto consiglio di amici del posto. Al tuguri ci ha letteralmente conquistati. Abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione, un esperienza da provare assolutamente, tutto veramente fantastico. La signora è una grande professionista, ci ha consigliato il migliore vino per accompagnare questi capolavori. Abbiamo cenato in veranda con una piacevole atmosfera, questo posto ci ha davvero conquistato. Complimenti allo chef per la passione, torneremo volentieri a trovarvi ad agosto.

Abbiamo optato per il menù quattro portate abbinato ai tre calici.
Ottime combinazioni, freschezza del cibo e sapori avvolgenti.
Servizio cordiale in una location accogliente.
