For my birthday I chose this place recommended by a relative... beautiful location!! Even though it's October, we ate outside on the veranda... we ordered the 5-course tasting menu... the dishes were very well presented. I particularly liked some of them, a small criticism about the fish which was a bit dry; perhaps a sauce would have enhanced it. The staff was kind and competent, and the wine selection was excellent... what can I say? A must-see when you come to Alghero.

We found this restaurant by chance. We went in without a reservation. I recommend booking in advance. So we waited a bit for a seat to become available, and what a surprise! We ordered the tasting menu with wine pairing. A delight. Everything was excellent, the fish was well prepared and cooked. The pasta was cooked to perfection. It may seem a bit expensive, but if you have the opportunity, go there; you won't regret it. We hope to come back!

Enjoyed delicious fish dishes on the small and cozy rooftop terrace. A special starter: rabbit with squid🤩 The fish of the day was really fresh and beautifully prepared. Very attentive and friendly staff.

My husband and I had a tasting menu of 5 dishes and 4 types of wine. Everything was top-notch. The restaurant is small, located on 3 floors, very cozy in an authentic building.

My wife and I had dinner at "Al Tuguri" to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. Given the warm evening, we preferred to sit on the new veranda (which hadn't existed under the previous management). There isn't much of a panoramic view, as some plants are planted on the parapet at eye-height, but it was very comfortable and the tables had enough space for privacy. The menu was limited to just a few dishes, which we greatly appreciated, as I've always been wary of menus with too many courses. We had two appetizers of raw red shrimp, two first courses of mixed pasta with black scorpion fish, and a dessert (called a tart but actually a mousse) of chocolate, peaches, and cardamom. The term "exceptional" isn't an exaggeration. The dishes were perfect in both form and substance. A special mention goes to the pasta, which evokes the flavors and aromas of times gone by. A reader might think that's more than enough, but no, it doesn't end there. The delicacies were brought to the table accompanied by a maître d', Francesco, of undisputed experience and professionalism, who recommended the wine to pair with the libations. The bill was very honest. The only flaw, and I repeat, the only flaw, was that I would have concluded the wonderful evening by savoring a glass of Pappy Van Vinkle served in an Old American, but unfortunately they had just run out. Francesco promised me he'll make it happen next time. An experience to be repeated without a doubt.

Loved it! Had the tasting menu (5 courses) with adjusted wines for 100€pp. Simple, elegant and very tasty. Superfriendly owner and staff. They placed us downstairs in a quieter area as we mentioned we were taking our 1y son, super thoughtful! Maybe one minor thingy is that the courses came a bit too fast after eachother.

My husband and I had the tasting menu with wine pairings (this made it a more expensive evening but compared to other tasting menus with pairings it was very fairly priced.) The menu was incredibly tasty and well balanced. All food and wine was local and definitely recommend it for fish lovers. The service was professional and friendly and we were sat at the terrace with a lovely view. Would recommend if you'd really like to treat yourself!

A delightful restaurant in every way, from the menu to the atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante sotto stretto consiglio di amici del posto. Al tuguri ci ha letteralmente conquistati. Abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione, un esperienza da provare assolutamente, tutto veramente fantastico. La signora è una grande professionista, ci ha consigliato il migliore vino per accompagnare questi capolavori. Abbiamo cenato in veranda con una piacevole atmosfera, questo posto ci ha davvero conquistato. Complimenti allo chef per la passione, torneremo volentieri a trovarvi ad agosto.
