Passing by during a family Sunday outing, we were pleasantly surprised by this place. We were welcomed warmly by all the staff and we really felt like family. The pizza dough was delicious. We then ate mussels for an appetizer and some first courses. Everything was really good. If we have the opportunity, we will certainly stop by again. Congratulations.

Andrea Costa's historic pizzeria. Excellent choice of pizzas. Whichever you choose is excellent. If you like spicy oil, bring what they prepare, delicious. If you don't want pizza, good choice of fish. Their fish risotto is excellent. Good prices, moderate for the pizzas, average for the fish

Food worthy of the price (i.e. within the norm), pizza also good having a wood oven and many different doughs, but the SERVICE... both courteous and disorganised. Every time for a takeaway pizza the same story: do you book the pizzas for a time confirmed by them? Even if they start doing them before you arrive, maybe they're afraid you won't come, just say it. Or the last time "hi, I'd like to order 3 pizzas that I'll pick up in 20 minutes or whenever you tell me"... "no problem, we'll make them". You arrive and obviously no pizza ready, so I ask how long it takes and I get a "5 minutes". I waited 25, even getting the wrong pizza at the end. If I had known, I would have drank a beer (paid for by them) outside the place and waited peacefully, but instead I waited inside in line with others while people are sitting at the table eating (poor things).
I'm calling to let them know that they got the wrong pizza so they probably got it wrong for someone else too. They apologize but they don't do anything. Similar thing happened to my sister who is a loyal customer, once they were so late that she had to tell him to avoid making them. We returned to the restaurant the next day to eat a pizza, guess what? So many apologies but no action to make amends.
Tavolaccio only able to apologize, but they've had this organization problem for at least 10 years and when you, the customer, get the problem, know that all you get will be a "sorry, we're so sorry".
In short, a classic family-run restaurant whose organization is certainly not a talent. It's unfortunate, because then the customer comes out pissed off for some stupid thing

I found myself passing through, I called to ask about availability for 2 people and the waiter was very kind, just as when I arrived, my opinion will only be limited to the pizza and the dessert, I found that both were really appreciated. I recommend it. I promised myself that as soon as I pass by again, I will stop to taste the rest too.

I went to a birthday party and the menu included fish... damn how I left happy and full, I'm of a certain age and I slept great at night, this means that the food was SUPER and wonderfully good.
Only compliments to everyone and nothing more.

Classic Sunday trattoria of the past, large room and adjoining rooms, informal furnishings and a lot of courtesy from the young waitress who welcomed and served us.
Very good food, traditional dishes, fish, pizzas and a wide range of vegetables prepared in all ways and visible in the trolleys.
We opted for a risotto with porcini mushrooms and a spaghetti with clams, both very good, accompanied by the house prosecco which was also good.
I also suggest the pizza, tasted on another occasion.
Modest account.
Absolutely worth trying, suggesting that you book.

Cercavamo un posto per pranzare ed abbiamo trovato per caso questo ristorante ...abbiamo preso un primo di tagliatelle alla bolognese squisite e porzione abbondante e mio marito un filetto con funghi porcini eccezionale .La cameriera super veloce e molto simpatica .Servizio al top ,prezzi accettabili.Ci ritorneremo

Sono stato a cena con amici a Il Tavolaccio in Bologna, via Andrea Costa, in cui servono menù alla bolognese, pesce e pizze. Non essendo un goloso (ricordate che la Gola è un vizio capitale e porta dritto all’inferno) ho optato per la “bolognesità”. Le tagliatelle, abbondanti, erano condite con un ragù veramente ottimo (guardate che è un superlativo assoluto), che forse meritava una pasta meno liscia, comunque ben cotta. La cotoletta alla bolognese era di buona qualità, ma leggermente difforme dal disciplinare, la zuppa inglese era gustosa e nei canoni. Accoglienza garbata e cordiale, locale curato e pulitissimo; Sara, la curatrice del servizio al mio tavolo, l’ha fatto con perizia e maestria, non disgiunto da cordialità e un tocco di charme, quest’ultimo non guasta mai. Chi ha ordinato la pizza (signora esigente) è rimasta ampiamente soddisfatta per bontà dell’impasto e perfezione della cottura. Il conto è onesto, il servizio rapido, nonostante il locale fosse pieno. Carta dei vini non ampia ma interessante e con ricarichi minimi. Abbiamo apprezzato la generosità dei liquori a fine cena. Bravi, torneremo per il pesce. Alfredo da Bologna (l’amico di Luca).
