Al Tabia In Ponte di legno

Historic restaurant, even in the slightly old-fashioned environment but still welcoming and tidy, which has an agreement with the hotel where we were staying. We chose to eat pizza and I found it excellent, light and digestible with fresh ingredients. The desserts are also good although perhaps a little expensive. Quick service, a note of thanks to the attentive and very courteous waiters (which is increasingly rare, particularly in times of large influx). Prices in line with the location

Good pizza, well cooked and super digestible. The wait staff was very attentive and quick. Online prices.

A little place with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The owner was very kind and friendly. The pizza was rated 10, I had it cooked + gorgonzola: perfectly cooked, full of gorgonzola that melted in the mouth, top quality ham. Finally a place where they aren't afraid of rich fillings!!

We hadn't found a place by calling, then we decided to come by anyway and they let us sit. Very friendly staff and good food!

On 28/12 an incursion with the family, 3 people to Ponte di Legno and then touching the snow of the Tonale pass, walking in the historic center, we accidentally entered this pizza restaurant, outside in the sun, tables for aperitifs and also customers for a lunch, inviting steaming dishes, already at the entrance a stua room, soft light, all wood, objects from peasant life, horse saddle, bridles, copper cauldrons, a yoke, scales with a round plate and weight, ...to welcome you very personally, with us comes a character who reminds me of someone, with DJ hair but we then discover, finding ourselves at the cash register, that he is the super chef from Brescia Andrea Mainardi, he takes photos with the chefs and with me wow...but what is amazing is the rack of ribs and other meat, on sight, which we then discover to be the flagship, the grilled meat dishes....going back to our lunch, so as not to ruin the tiring diet, ordered onion soup, really light and a plate of grilled vegetables, cut with a certain thickness and cooked wonderfully, a margherita pizza, a plate of garganelli with a successful combination of the spicy saffron and the crunchiness of the speck, blended with cream and a side dish of baked potato chunks, for dessert a slice of strudel with shortcrust pastry and rich in chunky apples and raisins, shame not heated, anyway delicious, water and Sprite, medium-high price, very kind, attentive and very fast staff, also available to entertain you and explain the meaning of the name Tabiá, barn. While peeking at the dishes of the other customers, with our eyes we also enjoyed braised meat and polenta, a skewer of meat and vegetables, homemade strozzapreti with deer ragù, ribs...we will return to taste the meat Advised

A bit of a wait on Saturday evening but... to understand. The whole of Ponte di Legno passed through there 😂 The food is good, mountain environment, well done.

After a year I can only confirm my previous opinion, good food, friendly and quick service.. clean place but in my opinion a little gloomy (personal opinion).. we will also be back next holiday

Excellent food even if prices slightly above average but that once in a while you can stay there very nice and comfortable place very kind, polite and professional staff

I've been there several times (also because it's one of the few places open out of season) and there have been mixed experiences. So I would say that if he says good to you you will be fine, but if he says bad you may end up with an unbearable waiter and raw food. The place is nice but lacks a bit of ventilation. One thing I couldn't stand was the refusal to give me something they sell (unequal treatment with other customers). The portions are not generous. The prices are those of Ponte di Legno (exaggerated, it feels like being in Milan). To the fateful question, WOULD YOU GO BACK? I would ALSO answer NO.
