I happened upon it by chance, in an unexpected and unpleasant circumstance and I wasn't even hungry. But I didn't want to miss the opportunity to eat a plate of casoncelli, which I hadn't tried in years. I liked the food, although I can't say anything about the other dishes, because, in fact, I limited myself to this Bergamo specialty. In any case, the friendly and kind service was appreciated, as was the environment, made up of workers and transient or regular workers, discreet and respectful of the place. I took advantage of a "work menu" for 12 euros, certainly below the value of the food obtained. Unfortunately, it is very unlikely that I will be able to repeat the experience, but I recommend it to anyone who happens to be passing by, perhaps to visit the sanctuary next to it, to take advantage of this corner of Italy, which is less and less frequent.

Homely environment, it puts you at ease, the food is excellent (I tried a porcini and formaggella risotto which was very good and, above all, cooked to perfection). To try? Why not?

Piacevole pranzo domenicale. Voti da 1 a 10: 7 per il locale. Locale carino, semplice e piuttosto rustico. È molto penalizzato dalla veranda che non è per nulla contestualizzata con il resto della struttura. Ad ogni modo è un ristorante che definirei “alla vecchia maniera”, cosa che apprezzo molto. 9 per il cibo. Buoni i casoncelli alla bergamasca, lo stesso vale per il coniglio arrosto con la polenta e la cheesecake. 8.5 per il servizio. Personale cortese e nota di merito per il simpatico proprietario. Discreto rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci tornerei? Sì. Lo consiglierei? Sì.
