Al Sangiovese In Bologna

I was in this restaurant last night, almost by mistake. I booked at the last minute, but the owner was very kind and found us a table anyway. We had a great time, 😅 friendly staff, excellent food from starters to desserts, very welcoming place and superb wine. Very honest price, we will definitely return.

I admit that it wasn't the first choice for that evening in Bologna, but the other restaurant had two shifts of service, one too early and the second a little late. But I thank chance, because it made us discover this wonder! Small and delightful atmosphere. We were served by the owner (I think) who conveyed friendliness, cheerfulness, but above all passion for her work. We started with the sangiovese risotto: I'm just saying that it MUST be tasted! Divine Then we shared the Bolognese cutlet and my partner said that next time (because there will definitely be a next time!) he will take it whole, without dividing it. A delight. To finish, I made the soft Sangiovese cake and he made the pear cooked in Pignoletto with melted chocolate on top. Very good A glass of... Sangiovese for him and a white for me (it was good, but I admit I don't remember what it was) We can't wait to return to Bologna to eat here again I also recommended it to a couple of friends from Bologna who didn't know it

Trattoria un po' fuori dal circuito turistico anche se molto vicina a Piazza Maggiore. Proprietari molto gentili e accoglienti, cibo ottimo ,così come il rapporto qualità prezzo. Merita una visita

Restaurante acogedor, muy amables y la comida espectacular. La carne excelente y de postre tome una panacota muy buena. Todo ello con buen vino y un entorno muy acogedor

Nice small restaurant conveniently located very close to the centre of town. Warm, welcoming atmosphere, no disturbing music in the background, cordial and efficient staff. Traditional local menu, well delivered: we tried two different appetisers and three different pasta dishes (which we duly cross-tasted), all very good, with no room left (for this time)for the attractive desserts shown on the menu. The bill for the three of us was €93. We will go back.

Magnificent, welcoming place, the stuff costs the right price in relation to the quality. I ate the best Bolognese cutlet of those I've tried so far. From now on I will always go here.
