The lasagna was absolutely mouthwatering rich, flavorful, and elevated by the unique touch of spinach. We also loved the tagliatelle it was so fresh
But the highlight…Antonella’s dessert. The real life Nonna herself was our server. She made a torta cioccolato, so good it nearly brought me to tears. Hands down, the best dessert we’ve had in Italy.

Can’t speak highly enough of Al Sangiovese.
Came here on a whim one year ago and specifically passed through Bologna a year later just to eat here.

Our favorite meal in Bologna and possibly in all of Italy! The lasagne was the best I’ve ever tasted. Thank you to our wonderful waitress Antonella for being so kind and welcoming. This place is fantastic and well worth the short walk outside of the main tourist area of Bologna.

We simply enjoyed dinning in this small family owned restaurant by a husband and wife. The wife is not only a chef but she greets you and walks you through the menu. She is ready to answer questions and help you with selections. This is a favorite for locals also so do make reservations. It is a small, intimate restaurant with lots of character and wonderful selections.

Came here almost exactly 12 months ago and it was so good we made a special trip back to Bologna for it.
Second time around it was even better. Tortelloni with sheep’s cheese is something to write home about. The lasagne and the tiramisu are both 10/10 and the best I’ve had anywhere in Italy.
Will come back again maybe in another 12 months… maybe less. Who knows!

Trattoria un po' fuori dal circuito turistico anche se molto vicina a Piazza Maggiore. Proprietari molto gentili e accoglienti, cibo ottimo ,così come il rapporto qualità prezzo. Merita una visita
