While passing through Bologna, I stopped at this place, which made me feel at home: the staff was kind, helpful, and professional. The risotto with parmesan and truffle was remarkable.

Discovered today on the recommendation of our hotel. Excellent restaurant in the old town, a little off the beaten track. Authentic local dishes. The cotoletta a la bolognese and the beef fillet with balsamic vinegar, arugula, and Parmesan are delicious. The wine by the glass is a Sangiovese, very good value for money. Good panna cotta for dessert. Very warm welcome, highly recommended.

Best lasagna ever!!!! The tortellini in sage and butter out of this world. This was one of our top 5 restaurants all around Italy. Definitely recommended!

Quando abbini buon cibo con una bottiglia di ottimo Sangiovese e trovi un ambiente famigliare poi solo dire di aver passato una bella serata. Il risotto al Sangiovese merita la visita, ma anche altri piatti si presentano bene. Tenetevi un buchino per i dolci . La titolare simpaticissima con cui parlare anche di basket... Consiglio la prenotazione

Me encantó este restaurante. Llegué a Bolonia un jueves y este fue el único restaurante que reservé para el almuerzo del sábado. Hasta mi visita a Al Sangiovese estaba muy decepcionado con la calidad de la comida en Bolonia. Al Sangiovese restauró mi fe. Un restaurante familiar de alta calidad. Excelente personal profesional amable. Comida genuina sobre todo si visita Bolonia.
