Great food and very friendly service. We had the cheese platter as a starter and lasagna and tortellini for the main course. I would have it exactly the same again.

Very small but extremely well-kept place. The courtesy of the owners combined with the quality of the dishes offered makes this restaurant a small oasis of excellent Bolognese cuisine. Not only tradition but also small and exquisite innovations that make the evening perfect. Also noteworthy are the desserts all homemade as tradition dictates and also with "innovative" influences. A place absolutely to visit for a pleasant evening with excellent cuisine and excellent service.

Fantastic food. We had chicken fillet with lemon and parmesan, steak with parmesan and balsamic. We chose lovely perfectly roasted potatoes with herbs. Best meal in Bologna, lovely service, cozy restaurant a little outside the city center and quiet and peaceful.

Incredible food. Our go-to restaurant in Bologna. All the pastas are fresh and delicious. Very authentic, traditional Bolognese food. Will keep going back every time we visit.

Me encantó este restaurante. Llegué a Bolonia un jueves y este fue el único restaurante que reservé para el almuerzo del sábado. Hasta mi visita a Al Sangiovese estaba muy decepcionado con la calidad de la comida en Bolonia. Al Sangiovese restauró mi fe. Un restaurante familiar de alta calidad. Excelente personal profesional amable. Comida genuina sobre todo si visita Bolonia.

Trattoria del Borgo

01/06/2025: This place is truly special. If you are in the region, do yourself a favour and go. It’s set in a gorgeous medieval village with a great view. The food is outstanding. We had the tasting menu for €40 euros per person and highly recommend it. They will customise it for you - for example, if you want to try a particular dish they will swap another one out. All of it was delicious. Particularly recommend the tortellini in broth, and the fior de latte for dessert. Also, reserve a table because it is a popular place and they get booked up.
28/05/2025: Refined Italian dishes, friendly service, neat classic ambiance. Recommended!
