What a fantastic find near Lake Garda! On our last night we were looking for an authentic taste of the region, and you absolutely have to try this restaurant. It's about 20 mins drive from Peschiera.
They specialise in tortellini and they were simply superb. Everything was made with obvious care, and you can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite was bursting with flavor. It was so difficult to choose which tortellini to go for and I especially appreciated that the menu had a TRIO tasting option and you could combine three different flavours of tortellini. It felt like a genuine, local experience, not just a tourist stop. And if they have torta delle rose on the dessert menu, give it a try as well!

Unfortunately, not the tortellini I remembered. We ordered a trio, and aside from the classic tortellini, which I remembered being much tastier when I bought them at the store, the others were a bit undercooked.
I also had a few complaints about the service: it was pointed out to us more than once that the shift was from 12:00 to 2:00 PM (and we still arrived on time). The icing on the cake was the claim that five couples, or 10 people, couldn't pay separately. It's unthinkable that someone should be forced to pay for 10 and then have to make arrangements outside the restaurant. Not to mention, it's not even compliant with the law.

We had a family lunch at the restaurant today. The food was amazing and so was the service. There was an amazing gluten-free tortellini dish - a highlight for us as a family traveling with a celiac child.
The only thing that left a bitter taste was that they charged a high price for the dishes we ordered (they charged double the price for a dish even though we ordered a regular dish and when we told the waiter he apologized for the misunderstanding but still charged us). It left a bitter taste at the end but other than that everything was excellent.

A very well-maintained restaurant in the center of Valeggio sul Mincio, famous for its tortellini.
Well-prepared and tasty dishes served by a young and helpful staff. Prices are in line with the quality of the place.

Ristorante a gestione familiare, in giardino curato dove mangiare.
Abbiamo assaggiato i tortellini del giorno.
Sono più grandi di quelli Bolognesi, li chiamerei tortelli. Molto apprezzati, soprattutto i tortelli verdi pecorino, pinoli e pomodorini confi. Vedure alla griglia buone. Il dolce buono ma un po’ pesante per la stagione estiva, proporrei qualcosa di più fresco.

Location carina con possibilità di mangiare anche all'esterno. Mise en place minimal ma bella. Piatti buoni: antipasti, primi e dolci. Servizio cordiale. Prezzo in linea con quanto mangiato. Un po' di "grinta" in più per fare il salto di livello. Comunque da provare.
