We received a very warm welcome, and the hotel staff is excellent. However, the rooms are in need of renovation. The heating couldn't be turned off, and the showers are in very poor condition—hardly any water, and the ventilation is broken. Guests had to put on their own duvets, which isn't the guest's responsibility.

Everything is fine. I'm not picky. I stayed for work. Unlike other hotels I've stayed at, this one is top-notch. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay. My rating is five stars.

I'm saying that because I recommend it to everyone. The variety of people don't like it because they have too many ingredients, but the art they have in mixing the ingredients is brutal. 09/12/2025: We ate well, with typical, home-style food. The atmosphere and style, however, are unchanged from 40 years ago...
09/11/2025: I honestly don't understand some of the unkind and negative comments (are they true?) I was lucky enough to stumble upon it by chance... and I felt at home, yes, because if you choose this place, it's because you choose to treat yourself like you're at home in exchange for a more than fair price. Authentic, quality food, courtesy, and service are there, even when someone doesn't deserve it. A good glass of wine and a wait that lasts as long as if you were waiting to eat at home, just enough time to chat. In the photo, you see an orzotto, which was truly delicious, but we had other dishes, and everything was top-notch. Thank you!
