Il Pesciolino d’Oro is a must-visit in Mazara del Vallo for those seeking high-quality cuisine.
Fresh fish, of course, takes center stage.
But meat lovers won't be disappointed either.
The wine cellar is well-stocked, with a curated selection of local and national labels.
The elegant yet welcoming venue is ideal for a special dinner or a relaxed lunch in a refined atmosphere.
Highly recommended 👍🏻

Very pleasant, with indoor parking, incredible pizzas, the meat was nothing special, the fish was very fresh, tasty, and very well prepared. The service was extremely slow; since there was a large table, they tried to get everyone out at once, but to do so, they had to serve everyone else first. We got our appetizers at 9:30 a.m., and the main course was brought out at 11:15 p.m., leaving us waiting for almost two hours. Not recommended for large tables.

It's expensive, we only ate two first courses, two glasses of white wine and a dessert. The waiters don't take you into consideration. However, the first courses were excellent.

We were in the area of Mazara del Vallo and we were looking for a restaurant, we asked a passerby and she told us about AL PESCIOLINO D'ORO...
A truly DOC restaurant

Kind and professional. Remarkable location on the wonderful seafront of Mazara del Vallo.
3 years ago a magical moment for me and my husband who love fish: wonderful mixed seafood appetizers. I wanted to taste busiate tuna aubergines and mint while my husband had a nice fried calamari.
But today only busiate Pesciolino d'oro and mineral water.
We got up after coffee ☕ ☕ noting a quality/price ratio very different than in the past.

We went to this restaurant on the advice of locals, but unfortunately the experience did not fully meet expectations. Despite the initial welcome and the possibility of sitting down immediately, we were practically forgotten for a while. Only thanks to a young waiter who brought us some bread were we able to calm our hunger, since it was already late (after 9:30 pm).
We ordered two first courses, an appetizer, a bottle of water and a can of Coca-Cola: the final bill was €110, a rather high amount considering some inconveniences.
The fish was fresh and overall we ate well, but some details left something to be desired: sea urchin bones found on the plate, only three shrimp in the pasta (with the intestine not removed that I had to remove myself) and a preparation that would have required more attention.
In conclusion, while acknowledging the quality of the raw material, the inattentive service and the lack of care in the dishes do not justify the price paid. It's a shame, because the potential is there, but with these premises I wouldn't go back.
