Recomendamos su antipasto di mare como un stater, un desfile de platos de mariscos locales sicilianos. Porción muy generosa, así que básicamente esto es para que dos compartan. También teníamos platos de pasta a base de mariscos, simplemente eran deliciosos también. Junto con una botella de blanco gaseado de la casa, cervezas, la cuenta era muy razonable. Usted será recibido por un propietario encantador que habla inglés. En mi opinión, Messina no es una gran ciudad para hacer turismo, pero fue una incidencia muy afortunada que encontramos esta encantadora trattoria. Todas las mesas estaban ocupadas por clientes locales distintos a nosotros, prueba de autenticidad segura.

Excellent family-run trattoria that you must visit if you are in Messina. The fish is very fresh and cooked with imagination in accordance with tradition.

Al Padrino in Messina was one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had with authentic Italian food! The Trippa was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the Involtini di Peperoni was both visually stunning and delicious. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service was excellent, and the food quality exceeded expectations. If you’re visiting Messina, don’t miss this restaurant — you won’t regret it!

Among the dishes not to be missed, the stocco alla ghiotta stands out, freshly prepared and considered a must in the restaurant, and the octopus salads, always very fresh and tasty. The peppered mussels is another much appreciated specialty, as are the fried squid or mixed fish, crunchy and well executed. Swordfish and squid are also offered with attention to quality and local tradition. The environment is simple but welcoming, with courteous and helpful staff who contribute to making the experience pleasant. The prices are low, with an excellent quality-price ratio, and the house wine accompanies the dishes well. In summary, Il Padrino is recommended for those who want to enjoy authentic seafood dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and according to local tradition, in a family and genuine atmosphere. For dessert, the razor clam with ricotta is very good.

Had dinner there was looking for local food and atmosphere. Go no further you found it! Can't rave more about it. The manager or owner is very persuasive and helps you to find what you are looking for. Even adjust menu items to your liking 👍. Only a small inconvenience is that they don't have large beers. But wine is sold by what you drink from a bottle of the standard red and white offered. Nice, actually, too.

I highly recommend it to everyone I know, tasty and plentiful food, affordable prices, excellent quality/price ratio. I have been several times and have always eaten very well, a flagship restaurant of our @bedda Messina

Ottimo cibo, e ben cucinato,ma peccato per lo spazio ridotto, servizio distratto ed assenza di caffè. Comunque tornerò per dare una seconda occasione per il caffè!
