Al Moro In Trieste

Decent food, friendly staff, "retro" ambience. The meat (Lubianska) both fried and grilled were really pleasant, the side kiffel were not the real kiffel but they were good. The cold cuts starter (which was good) was certainly at a price that was not proportionate to the quantity, although the cold cuts were good the portion per person was small and a single bowl of "liptauer" was absolutely insufficient for 4 people.

Excellent rustic trattoria with local and typical offerings. I tried the kren spritz, Sauris and Liptauer cured meats, the bread gnocchi with roast sauce, the chifeletti, the parmigiana, the lubjanska (non-breaded version, top!), and the potato gnocchi with goulash. Everything super. Quick "just right" service and genuinely friendly.

Locale storico di Trieste, ottima cucina tipica in partoclare i gnocchi di pane con gulash e i kiffel. Personale molto cordiale ed ambiente accogliente.

Really excellent, potato gnocchi with delicious goulash, as are the chifeletti 😍 Very kind, fast and friendly staff and a location that tastes just like home! We'll be back!

Traditional Trieste menu.....excellent cuisine, excellent service....a successful evening

We were 13 people for dinner in December, we had a good time, excellent service and no waiting, welcoming place and typical Trieste cuisine menu. Definitely good value for money
